I worked this morning, but tonight I'm seeing a show, and tomorrow I'm looking forward to getting stuff done at home and relaxing.

I have four more weeks until spring break, and I'm counting down the days!

Yay for Spring Break!

I have to work a little this weekend too, I'll probably do it tomorrow.

I had to go to a celebration of life service for a co-worker's husband this morning, but now I'm back home after getting my grocery shopping done. I'll probably chill and do chores the rest of today.

I spent the weekend throwing out all of the food in both our refrigerators, refilling them, getting warm again and catching upon everything that needs electricity. We had really high winds most of Wed and ended up loosing power late that morning and didn't get it back until Fri night. It was out for 59 hours. Wed wasn't that bad because it was in the 50s but it was really cold the next 2 days with wind chill into single digits. We were lucky though because there are still a lot of people without power still. Got 5 inches of snow yesterday.

Ooh, sorry, Sarah. That's a long time without power. I hope it comes back for everyone in your area, because with this cold weather it would be awful to be without it.

I have a snow day today (our second this year, and in NYC snow days are very rare), so I'm just staying in and relaxing. The snow seems to have turned to freezing rain, so it doesn't look very pleasant outside.

Jay's dad was without power for a day or two as well. Sorry it happened!
Claire, snow days sound cozy and nice. I wish I had one earlier in the year.

It's hard to tell because all the snow gets plowed into giant mounds on the edge of the sidewalks, but less than a foot I think! No problems getting to work today.

I saw Get Out today. Interesting thriller! Good but bizarre.

I saw a screening of that and really enjoyed it! It was a great mix of satire/thriller. I'm glad it's doing so well at the box office.
