Sarah- here's the whole story. It's under a "spoiler" tag so it doesn't take up too much space and people not interested can skit it. Jay is my fiancé and Matt is Matt Morrison in the story.

A few days before leaving for NYC Matt texted me, asking me exactly my plans for the trip. I was surprised, but told him our dates and that we were seeing Neverland on Friday 8. He told me he had a dinner that night, and if we could swing by the stage door on Tuesday 5 after the show, to which I agreed.
That night Jay and I had tickets for Fun Home (which I specifically got for that day because it's a short show, 1.40h with no intermission), and after that we headed to the Lunt Fontanne stage door. As soon as the show was over we did what we usually do, and the guy at the door let us in immediately. I found it a bit odd (the other times we had to wait a couple of minutes), but just thought Matt was free already.
We get in, and instead of heading upstairs to his dressing room, he's there in the wings waiting for us. He apologizes because the Rockettes were there and he had to take pictures and stuff with them before being able to talk to us, he had no idea they'd be there. So he left us backstage and went onstage to take pics. The Rockettes are about half a million, by the way. He and Kelsey took a hundred pictures, some official and some just personal with some dancers. Every couple of minutes Matt was coming to check on us. I thought he wanted to make sure we weren't touching the props or such (I totally did), but it turned out to be for a different reason. Jay was looking a bit odd, and I asked him a couple of times if he was ok, but I just thought he was freaking out about being on stage as I was.
After a while, at least 15 minutes, Matt comes back and takes us on the stage. Some Rockettes were still there, but many had left. I was just chatting and he guided us to the front-left of the stage, pretty much to the point where the show starts with him sitting on the bench, and then he says he has to take care of something and disappears.
I was still confused and pretty much oblivious to what was happening, at least until I saw Jay had tears in his eyes. He started talking and then I understood. At some point one of the Rockettes said "oh my god, it's a proposal!!" (but I only heard that later).
After I said yes there was a huge cheer, and then I turned around to see that Matt had filmed the whole thing on his iPhone.
We were congratulated by some cast members and some Rockettes, and then went up to Matt's dressing room where he had a bottle of champagne in ice for us. We stayed there for a good hour, drinking champagne and chatting (or at least, I started talking a good 20 minutes later because so shocked).
After we left, we went to have drinks at Urbo, where they again got us free champagne. I held it together pretty well until I got out of the theatre, then I couldn't stop crying.
I love that the whole thing was done with a pretty much empty theater, as opposed to those who propose at curtain call (which I've never liked).
Oh, and I forgot to say that Jay had asked Matt to put the ghost light on stage, so the lighting was amazing.

I´m never going to get proposed to so it was nice to read your whole story, Vale so do you already know where the wedding is going to be?

I went inline skating for the first time this year and I didn´t even realized that I had missed it so much. We went 17km and it felt so good. Now my knees are crying a bit but it´s much better than last year.

Also this past 14 days have been all about ice-hockey but that´s nothing new in this country.lol

Why not? You guys decided to not get married? Many couples decide that here in Italy nowadays.

That sounds like fun! I wish I still had skates! I hope I'll get to ride my bike a bit this weekend. I haven't gotten back into running, sadly. We biked about 30km in NYC last week and it was awesome.

Val, your proposal story sounds so perfect! You;re lucky with a guy like Jay. So romantic! I don't feel like there are that many romantic guys out there anymore. I'm happy for you

Dave has a wedding ceremony phobia.lol not even the marriage but the ceremony, it would be like his worst day ever so I´m not expecting anything.lol buuut, he said that maybe if we had a baby one day he would have to marry me. (maybe because I told him that I don´t have to get married but if I ever have a baby it will be named after me and it´s up to the daddy what my name will be ) We are very romantic.lol

I had a really nice family dinner in a restaurant last night, and I'm celebrating with my friends tonight. Good weekend.

I have a 10k race today! I'm so nervous. After my last race I got injured, because I picked up my training too fast which was too much for my upper leg. And I decided to ignore it so it went from bad to worse. My physical therapist gave me green light to run last weekend so I ran 5k. A few days ago I ran 7.5k and now have to run 10k. I haven't run 10k in about 6 weeks. So today will be interesting

It's going to be fun though. My friend is running as well and she's normally much faster than me so we always run separately in races. She got injured a couple of weeks ago as well so she decided she's going to run with me at my pace. And since we're running together we decided to go crazy and wear exactly the same outfit. Which doesn't match at all. Green shirt, blue shorts and pink shoes lol. At least we'll have fun today!

Last day of birthday celebrations over here. Went out with friends last night and yet another family lunch today. I also took my nephew to see horses and donkeys this morning, and that was really cute.

I ran a PR Don't ask me how, but I did. After 7k I went in survival mode, but still did it. 57 minutes and 21 seconds! I'm very happy! We got lots of replies on our matching outfits lol. Some people on instagram even recognize us because they were running behind us for a couple of kilometers and remembered us because of the matching outfits. Hilarious As you can imagine, I'll spend the rest of the evening on the couch. I'm dead.

Congrats, Denise!!! That's great. And I saw the outfits on instagram, you looked great!
My celebrations spanned the whole weekend. My brother and I took my nephew to meet horses, ponies and donkeys this morning. It was incredibly cute.

Congrats, Denise! That´s awesome I haven´t seen your outfits but I´m sure it was fun.

I spent the weekend watching ice hockey and going for short walks in Prague. Nothing really special. Glad the hockey marathon is over.

We couldn't really get one with our complete outfit on it. We were hoping to get a great finish photo of the two of us, but at the finish some girl decided to run past us by going exactly through the two of us. So unfortunately not.

I spent a long weekend (Friday-Sunday) in Florida for my friend's wedding and had a great time. I got really sunburned but loved being on the beach for a few days, and the beach wedding was gorgeous and so much fun. I arrived home at 2:00am last night (technically this morning) and got a few hours of sleep before heading to work this morning, so I'm exhausted (but it was worth it).
