No. it´s contest between some european countries. Every country pick on singer/band who will represent them at the contest. then people in the countries vote for the best singer, but you can´t vote for your own country. The concept is not horrible but the songs are unbelievable aweful, it all sounds like bad 80s. Never heard one song I liked. The only good thing that came out of this contest was ABBA and that was long time ago. And apparently it´s like religion in some countries.lol

Hey girls. Today was the world hypertension day (duh) and since my department is specialized in that, like every year we had to set a stand at the hospital entrance and measure blood pressures to anyone who wanted to. We were supposed to have shifts of about 1 and a half hours, but a friend of mine had an emergency with one of his patients, so I ended up doing 3 shifts. I think I took over 250 BPs. Big headache now.
Katka, well at least you can fully enjoy this weekend in Prague. My mom's happy that I don't have a washing machine here in Turin (yet), so I have to go back every weekend lol.

Sooo, my toilet is painted again! The insurance company sent someone to paint it which I'm pretty happy about because I didn't feel like painting it myself.

TGIF!!!! Can't wait! An extra day off on Monday.

I had a busy fun day. First we went to the big book fair and then to a beautiful park with a castle nearby where we walked a lot and then we drove to our friends and played games. I´m pretty tired now. Looking forward to a calmer day tomorrow.

so I spent yesterday evening at a gay bar to watch the ESC. And that's frankly the best place to be. Everyone cheered for their songs, it was a great atmosphere. And I ordered a F-U-C-K you from the bartender which apparently is a shot. hihi Denmark was good so I am glad she won.

I had a good Saturday night as well. I went out for dinner with my friends at a new place that we wanted to try, and the food was amazing; after that we went back to two of our friend's place, and all together they gave me my birthday present: a cool relaxing treatment at a spa that I can't wait to try and, most importantly, an amazing calendar they made, which goes from September 2013 to August 2014 (the months I'll be away), with pictures of us all throughout the years and all our travels and holidays together. Seems unreal that I've been friends with them for so long. I've known two of them since we were 11.

Val, that sounds like an amazing night! Such great birthday present! And I'm sure your friends will all come and visit you right?

My 'party bike' broke down this week. Boohoo. I've had that bike since I was 10 or something lol, so it was that old that I used the bike only when going out partying. I didn't want to put my new/good bike at the bars so I always used this one for it. But now it's broke and repairing costs a looottt. I knew it was going to happen someday, because the bike was old, but it still sucks lol. I've become attached to that bike and now I have to find a new 'old' one.

I don't think so... my best friend will likely come, and a couple of others probably, but some of my friends are already married and/or have kids, so I don't think they'll manage to! Even if it'd be cool.

Sorry about the bike!! But at least it worked for a lot of years without being stolen!

ETA: I celebrated my birthday with my family today, and look at the awesome cake my parents made me (and completely by surprise, I had no idea):

I just improved my farthest running distance by more than a kilometer. That's what I love most about running, you see improvement so fast! I just decided to run today and see how far I would get and I improved myself a lot. And that while it was raining lol.

I'm sorry by the way for all the running talk coming from me, I might bore you lol. But I'm just proud of myself. Never thought I could ever do anything like this.
