| OT Thread #197 - Summertime is coming! Continue on here! I just got home from Amsterdam. Had to go to an introduction meeting for new employers at my new internship. We got lots of infos and a tour around the factory. It was okayish. I mean, it's good that they do stuff like this of course, but I won't need half the stuff they told me.. I'm glad I'm home now though. They sent out a safety warning that there's heavy weather coming and advising people to stay in. And it just started. Heavy rain and thunder. Also blasts that come with 100km/h. So yeah, glad to be inside now! | Hey!  So i'm confused over your new boss too Katka!  Did he get a kind of promotion then? I hope whatever way it goes you still have a nice job  Denise - I think I'll have pretty much the same thing today when I go into work first days always suck  I hate not being good at things so I always hate the beginning of things I also don't know what to wear! she hasn't told me anything! Never mind My uncle and I just took my cousin's two kids to their "mommy and me" swim class cause she's far too pregnant to deal with them! It was so much fun but it's kinda cloudy today so the lake was FREEZING! | We had a big thunderstorm here yesterday. It was so scary I almost crawled under the table to hide but I'm kinda scared of every thunderstorms lol The Police Station was flooded in my district but it was worse on other parts of the country. And Katka, I need your list of where you want to go in Paris To make plans. Yes, it sounds crazy but I'm going to plan stuffs lol__________________ | |||

| Oh my God Katka! It must be CRAZY hot! I hope you keep finding decent lakes! I wish that I could come to Paris too but I'm cool with some Claire and Vale time in NY I'll need to make sure I get some time off work for that I got shouted at twice this morning! My aunt and uncle have the nastiest neighbours EVER! I guess there was a huge legal battle when the house we live in was first built (before my family moved in) and apparently the people opposite have been horrible ever since! Anyway, I went out to get the paper this morning in my PJs and the woman hollered across the street that she didn't need to see my ass in the morning and I was making the place look like a cheap motel!!!!  How RUDE!!!! I had shorts and a tank top on my uncle was on the deck and found this whole thing hilarious - he's given me permission to moon her next time she says anything! Then we went to the shops and we were pulling out a busy junction and I said that we were good to go (on my side) so my uncle pulled out and nearly crashed!!! WHO THE HELL DOESN'T LOOK THE OTHER WAY! | We had a big thunderstorm on Sunday and it gave the whole country about 30 million of damage. The storm we had yesterday was even bigger, so I guess the damage is even higher and worse now. Luckily nothing major happened around here, but in the rest of the country there's been trees coming down and falling on houses, places flooding and stuff like that.
