Shannon - been there but luckily the sucky connection drove my mom crazy so now we have an ADSL in our house and it´s great.

and finally I was able to watch three eppies of SatC in a row today. still have lots of eppies to go, though.

Denise- yep it was hard, 'cos we still have internship and classes so the time was little, and Neuro is a hard subject- 750 pages... That's why I'm so glad it's done!

I wish it drove my mom crazy enough. I've had high speed for 4 years at school and coming home to this just sucks, haha. But I'm telling my mom how much I'm suffering everyday.

It was kind of the same with my mom. She has a super fast internet at work so she couldn´t stand the slow one at home.hihi. I will have to figure out what internet connection I will have in my new apartment in Prauge soon. it will probably be also ADSL but not that fast. Can´t afford it myself.

Val: 750 pages I didn't even have to learn that much for my high school finals I couldn't have done it. I think it's so good you can do that. I'm glad I have a major that doesn't require much studying I've studied 3 times, I think, in the 2 years I'm in college now. Sure we have to read a lot of literature, but we don't get tests about it. We have to link the literature to the job itself/internship. So we have to use what we learn at the internship and write essays about it. And in those essays we show we read the literature, understand it and we can use it. For me that's so much easier than studying so many pages. We do get a few tests we have to pass, like dutch and math, but it ain't much

I think it's really interesting to see how people learn in different ways. The ways that people like to learn I mean. I mean, you learn by studying, I learn by writing essays, maybe another person learns by just doing it. It's funny how we all have our different ways you know? It's really interesting IMO. But that's maybe the teacher in me a bit

I think it is interesting. But I think our way of studying is very much influenced by what we study- medicine is a lot of memorization, before and while you learn to do the "real" stuff. I suppose it's like that everywhere in the world.
I think your studies are more practical, s it makes total sense for you to do experiences and then write about them.
Anyway, not all of my exams are that long, but at least 2 each semester are.

And I'm getting this one of SatC, it's the one we have here. It's so cool, inside there are lots of things apart from the dvds- books, pics...

No, you're not the only one. I've to suffer at my parents home too. And the bad thing is I cancelled my fast internet today from October on. Sigh I should use the time and *cough* everything I want. I'm already missing it. To go from fast internet (although it's not working atm but what's new? ) to nothing will be hard. And my daily icq talkings with some of youo girls.....

Vale I didn't make any more icons buuuuuuuuut I can do this. I really need distraction from time to time. Anything special?
