Ele and Shannon- we also have a game like this. itś called Chodi Pesek okolo, which I believe means almost the same as the german title.lol.we don´t drop tisues, though, we hit the person in back with one leather thingy.lol. And we sing a song during the "circling"(lol) too

Sorry to hear that Denise. I know what a drag it can be in The Netherlands to get that license, well, at least compared to the US. It took me three times and a truckload of money ... good luck when trying again!

Ele: Well we need to learn 3 courses. When you drive away the examiner tells you: I wanna go to ... But I only knew 2 courses really well, cause I drove those yesterday. We had driven the other one a few times before, so I wanted to learn the other ones. But guess what course I had to drive? Yes the one I didn't really know. So I was so stressed cause I didn't know where to go to. And then I came at a crossroad (80 km/h) and there was a truck coming near. But I was so stressed, because I didn't know if I had to turn right or left I figured I could still make it before the truck. But I didn't and the examiner stopped the car. Which was after 5 minutes already, so I knew I had failed already.

It's all because of those stupid courses And if the truck hadn't been there I would've turned without any problems.
I'll hopefully have more luck next time.

Babette: I know, it's so much easier in the US. And in The Netherlands now it totally sucks, cause they have the new exam now.

Wow you have to learn courses? Why? Here you've to drive wherever the examiner wants you to drive well except for the highways cause that would be too easy. To be honest I'm glad I made it the second time, don't want to do it now. And I never had an accident with another car or people in those 8 years I drive.

Yep. Apparently they want to ecourge 'driving on your own'. But the course is only for about 10/15 minutes. The rest of the time the examiner tells you where to go to. We actually do a bit of highway. But not too long
But you know what the thing is. I'm sure if you'll give me my license now, I won't be in an accident as well. I know I can drive. And that's the most frustrating thing ever

wow,that sounds hard denise. i was really glad cause the examiner wanted to drive me a course i already drove a few times before so i knew where to watch out etc. that was kind of a relief for me. the day before my test i nearly had a crash so i was very nervous the next day...
it's kind of strange but since the nearly crash i luckily never got into such a situation again (well,i'm driving for only 8 months now soo....)
let's hope for the best - you'll pass the tesst next time!!!

omg, I love my boss. He just gave me a honorary ticket to see the czech crown jewels the exhibition is open only for one week and if you want to see it you have to be in the line since 4a.m. and then have to wait for five hours to get there and only 5000 people a day can see it. And I won´t have to stay in that line.wohoo. the jewels are from 1347 and king established that the jewels can be seen only on some special occasion, and it´s only like once in 20 years. And now Im going to see it It´s the most important czech monument and Im so thankful to see it. full of pretty diamonds a stuff, it´s beautiful. But pity that I just got one ticket cos my mom would love to see it too.
