I did that, without the cup and the croissant. The saleswomen looked at us like we are the ugliest people on the planet, so we left the shop the second we went in there. I think we didn´t look rich enough. That´s one of moments why I didn´t like NY.

And lol no. It's college, we don't do notes anymore. Nobody cares if you show up or not. They say you're an adult now and can make your own decisions. You wanna go to college so you have to decide if you wanna come to class or not You have no idea how many classes I skipped last year Although only the ones I knew for sure weren't intresting.

oh i didn't know you're in college already cause we have to go to school for 13 years which means i'm in my last year
they don't really care if you've got a note from a doctor what i actually wanted to say is that you need it for an exam otherwise you'll get 0 points oh and some sports teachers say you have to bring in such a note otherwise they'll give you 0 points for the lesson. most of the teachers don't care cause it's as you already said: we're adults and have to know what we're doing (nevertheless i only skipped 2 sport lessons and didn't miss the other classes-afraid to miss anything that might be important for the finals or exams )
