Mark and I had plans to go see it with some friends but I ended up catching a terrible cold that day and didn't feel good when we went. There is a scene where Jesus has his back to the audience, raises his arms out and turns around. As soon as he turned my cold was completely gone and didn't come back. It was so amazing. I often wish I could see the movie again when I get real sick to see if it would work again.
Thanks, Sarah! I had a great front row seat at Jesus Christ Superstar and loved it. I also watched the TV broadcast of it and thought it translated to the screen really well. Your movie moment sounds amazing!
It sounds like you had a nice Easter with your family!

Claire, that had to have been amazing. Please tell me you recorded it and watched it later so I know I was actually watching it live, though I don't understand how they fit the commercials in lol. Yeah, I think the movie came out later the same year I got married way back in '73 but I will never forget that.

Easter was really nice because my son was here, too and that doesn't happen often during the year. Usually it is just us, the girls and our grandson all of which i see just about every day. It's always good when we can all be together.

Kathi, glad to hear that your dad is back home and feeling better. Sorry about all the frustration you had trying to install the game. Hope you enjoyed your long weekend. Any time spent with Gilmore Girls is a good time. Which episodes did you watch?
It always starts with the Pilot and goes to Rorys Birthday Parties straight to Lorelais Graduation+Rorys

And ended with Luke and Lorelai dancing, kissing and their first Date. The perfect end was their Wedding hihi

So you can see I watched Lorelai growing up

I actually went to the dress rehearsal on Saturday, which they filmed as if it were the real show as a back-up just in case something went wrong on Sunday. So I was able to watch the real thing air on TV.

I'm glad you got to see your son along with the rest of the family, Sarah!

Hey everyone,

how was your Weekend?
I had a good Time. And we had excellent Weather! I wish I could use Today for staying in Bed and having much Junk food but my Shift starts in 3 Hours.

My Father looks good. He tries to eat normal. But he never makes it. To sad actually because my Sister always makes his favourite Food. But He is good so far.. he is getting tired I think. And sometimes He is not speaking the entire Day but that's normal I guess.

I hope you all had a nice weekend

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

I'm going to see "A Quite Place" today. I must prepare to be scared!

Update: A Quiet Place was really good. I recommend it to everyone. Especially if you like scary/horror movies. But even if you don't. The family story is really the heart of the movie.

I saw The Iceman Cometh on Broadway, which was great (I thought Denzel Washington and David Morse were fabulous in it). It was four hours long but flew by. The weather here has been beautiful the past two days, so I've also spent a good bit of time outside. It's been a good weekend so far.

Sounds fun! Glad you're having good weather. It poured all day here, which made it a good day for the movies.

This Weekend is not the best...

I'm feeling not so good and I guess that's the whole Stress. Which means I have to take a little Break. But I can't... I guess you all can understand my Point. My Father, my Job, My own Private Life... It's a lot. Too much.

I've tried to relax and slow down... but failed!
I asked my Sister if she can stay with our Dad for a Week so I can take focus on my Job. She will be here for 2 days at least. So I can work with a clean Head. (I hope)

It was 75 degrees and sunny on Friday and Saturday, and today (Sunday) it's 42 and rainy, so the good weather certainly didn't last long!

I'm sorry, Kathi. That sounds really hard. Do you live alone with your Dad? I hope your sister being around this week helps.

Now that LG and her Family have seen the Movie, I would totally go.. I'm actually not a horror movie person.. But Lauren wasn't afraid to scream like a Girl so why should I be..

And also my Dad is back in the hospital.. The Chemo might be too late.. He God really bad pains and it was horrible to see my Father in pain. Well I hope the Doctors can keep their promises to try everything

I had a fun day away in Portland. I've been working A LOT, but finally I'm catching up on things, so I'm getting back to a more regular schedule, so that's good.

Looking forward to a vacation in a couple months.
