It took me to the end of the movie, to realise this. But after watching it the second time, it's really obvious.

Finally watched Middle School today.

Was a cute movie and loved Lauren's scenes, and the brief behind the scenes shots and bloopers.

Actually I kind of had a feeling that Leo has something to do with Rafe... every time when Rafe got in trouble Leo just starred and didn't do anything. And when the girl and rafe had that meeting where she invites him and Leo's try to say to rafe "don't tell her" she didn't look to Leo. So it was obvious sometimes for me.

I had read the book before I saw the movie so I already knew.

Just finally watched it today. The "revelation" with Leo elevated the movie to a deeper level. Until then it was kinda movie full of stereotypes.

and boy, was that boyfriend horrible.lol

OMG HE was the worst. I think I liked the principal better lol

Hairy Bear!!! I love the comic! It's so funny! And yes He's terrible!

the_strawberry_girl 01-19-2017 08:28 PM

I had seen on here that there was a twist with Leo.

I figured out the basic twist pretty quick, but not his actual relationship to Rafe. I figured that out much later.

Haha, Carl/Bear really was the worst.

the_strawberry_girl 06-03-2019 01:39 PM

Yes, a movie based on a book. Lauren plays the mom of the main teen.
