My husband wants to go (I have made him a Lauren fan, not hard to do) but I would also love a girls day out so maybe I would go twice. This might be a stupid question but how many people are going to stake out the stage door? I have been to quite a few shows to specifically see one person and have found it is easier to catch them before the show, you just have to hope you get there early enough rather than after the show when there are a lot of other people waiting.

Kaela put me down but I'm not on the list. We're fairly sure we'll be going sometime between April 11-14.

I'll stage door. Sometimes the actors won't stop before the show, though, because they need to get in the theatre and get ready and want to be able to focus on the upcoming performance. It's customary to wait afterwards, even though there will be a bigger crowd (I'm sure there will be a lot of people for this show).

Now I feel like I have to go twice because my mom would like to go as well, but I don't know if she would be ok with waiting by the stage door. I dont think she gets my obsession So if we are able to arrange a meetup here, I'll def do the stage door then!

I think we should really start planning this
ok,so lets say we have group A who meets in march, how about the performance on march 21. would this be okay for everyone?

those who want to stay longer: what about march 19 till whenever he/she wants to leave...eg march 26 (so it will be a full week in NYC)

who's going to stay in NYC for a couple of days?

do we want to stay together eg in a hostel? if yes: do you already have suggestions?

Yes, we do need to start planning. Though, I'm still trying to figure out when to go, Lol.

I think what we should really plan, is a show date if we are all wanting to go together (sit together or just go together, etc.), and a day to meet up and... "meet". Lol. Cuz I feel like everyone's trips are just going to overlap and not be exact. So maybe starting tiny with the couple days to meet each other would be best at first.

And of course we can help each other out with sharing hostel/hotel information, etc.

If that made sense.

Oh, and also. The 21st of March is a Saturday meaning tickets are more expensive. I dunno if that matters to anyone else...

ETA: Denise, I wish you were going in March I was looking forward to shopping for fake purses in Chinatown, lol.

Well, I can't just... leave everything and go to NYC all by myself. My parents would think I'm crazy or something.

Chrissi, that's a great idea. I'd definitely stay for at least a week.

And I think we should contemplate a hostel, hotels are too expensive, maybe? Or are hostels known the be filthy or something?

I can recommend Jazz in the Park hostel, it´s not the cleanest one but it´s a great location. It was quite good there.

Val - i have the same problem with parents.lol

Well, we also don't all have to stay in one place. Though, for those traveling alone it would be a good idea. If my mom weren't possibly coming I'd be cheap and go for a hostel, but I can't imagine my mom in one of those. Hahaha.

I wish I could go in March as well. I'd love to come shopping with you. Can't you go in April/May?

Val: Ooh that's so sad. I was hoping to go at the same time as you.

I'm hoping to go the last days of April, first days of May. If that isn't possible, probably in July (if she's still on then).
