I don't know...I actually kind of have the opposite feeling!

Some scoop from TCA: 7 Things We Now Know About the Gilmore Girls Revival | E! News

Quote:
Rory's living and working in London: The first couple of minutes of the "Winter" installment feature Rory returning to Stars Hollow from her new life in London and immediately jumping back into that famous mile-a-minute banter with Lorelai. It's meta as hell, and just beyond delightful.

However, Rory's life is not perfect: According to Sherman-Palladino, she's in a place where she did everything right, like going to college, getting the job she wanted, and yet her life is not what she wanted it to be. "Because the world is changing now, I think that's something that a lot of 30-something, very well educated kids are going through, because they're turning around going, wait a minute, I did it! Why am I not getting where I need to go?"

Bledel told reporters that Rory gets into the newspaper business right when newspapers become irrelevant, which contributes to her struggles.

As for her love life, "people's questions will be answered," she says.

The movies will deal with Richard's death, which coincides with the cast mourning the real-life death of Edward Hermann. According to Graham, the death looming over both the show and the cast has given the show a "depth and emotional complexity."

That devastating aspect of the story is part of the crossroads that Lorelai, Rory, and Emily each find themselves on when the show picks back up. "What does the death of a husband mean to a woman who had a life very specific to her all these years. Where does she go from here?" Sherman-Palladino said of Emily, and then of Lorelai: "And a very single, but coupled, but independent woman who had these guards up her whole life to protect her daughter and protect herself and suddenly is looking at where am I now? Where's my comfort?"

It's about the journey: While Sherman-Palladino's much anticipated final four words will be exciting to hear, it's not all about the four words. There's enough of a build throughout the four episodes that if some rude jerk spoils them before you get there, your life won't be ruined.

The seventh season will probably not be acknowledged. Sherman-Palladino, who was not involved in that final season, did not watch it, and only asked her friends what happened in it to make sure that what happened in it did not conflict with her plans for the revival. Apparently there was only one thing that occurred in season seven that messed with her plans, but she refused to share what that was. And we're kind of OK without knowing it.

All episodes will be announced at once, whether or not Amy Sherman-Palladino wanted it to happen that way. "The fans would kills us!" Netflix president Ted Sarandos said when asked why he went against her wishes.

There are no plans for more...yet. "It is what it is right now. We put this together, we told these stories, and now we throw them out into the universe," Sherman-Palladino said, before later adding: "But like I've said, when it comes to your family, you never fix your s--t."

I'm confused about the "very single, but coupled" part about Lorelai? I guess they just mean she's not married yet.. but it's weird wording.

I have no problem with no wedding; I just want her to be happy, and she may have to work through some things to get there, but I'm confident she will.

I agree, Shani, the wording of that is odd.

Agreed.

Sounds like she is committed to Luke, but they still have their own lives, but they are together. Which works for some couples.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Curious, as to which storyline from season 7, messed up her plans? I really feel, I need to know this.

I don't know why, but for some reason I think it might be Lane having babies. I just had that feeling. But I'm basing that on nothing.

That crossed my mind to. I also think it could be Logan, asking Rory to marry her.

Or maybe It was the storyline, where April had appendicitis, she wanted it first! Hehe

I like this and hope we get more promos like it which tease but aren't actually part of the movie, almost like outtakes giving us more to look forward to in November.

Also love we'll get all 4 at once, against Amys wishes.

The endless waiting game has certainly pushed theorists and speculators into overdrive. Everyone seems to read too much into every photo and press release all over the place. This is nuts and I’m lovin’ it. I just skim through news articles and opinions in hopes of sticking to being spoiler-free and keeping my sanity amidst the chaos till the most anticipated day in the calendar gets here.

More craziness:
Did ‘Gilmore Girls’ just drop a major hint that Lorelai is now pregnant? – Zap2It
Lauren Graham just posted a "Gilmore Girls" picture that has us very, very worried

Haha. Considering neither Matt Czuchry nor Lauren Graham have an Instagram, I'm chalking this one up to click bait.
