Hey Alexis, remember that earthquake we're talking about? We just got one! [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] It was up in Central California, so it wasn't too strong here.. pretty strong up there.. 6.5

It was felt as far south as San Diego.

Our alarm went off this morning when the earthquake hit.. pretty interesting.. I didn't know fire alarms went off on earthquakes!

Was FF down earlier today? I came back from a one day trip to Manhattan so I'm unsure of if it was down for longer. It wasn't working for me @ around 1:00PM.

Kitty, my dad is the same as you with the earthquake scaring. When we were in Carmel we had seperate rooms for the adults and kids and he came banging on our door at 1 in the morning telling us to find something to hide under. Being 8, I was naturally petrified. His attempt at humour I guess.

I'm so sad about FAO Swartz. I've never been to NY, but we're planning to go in April... I wanna see it! Does anyone know when It's closing? I've been to the one in San Fran and I think we spent over an hour in there [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

There was a problem for 24 hours [img]smilies/look.gif[/img] I sent out an email through LG Media, did anyone get it?

I'm kind of disapointed this year, I got a lot of clothing- not like it's a bad thing but I wish I got more things. Like CDs, DVDs, and stuff. I really wanted a TV for school and didn't get it. So I'm bummed about that - and I didn't get a lot of money as I was hoping. My Uncle didn't get me a present for the 2nd year in a row...my mom is pissed at him. I hate to sound selfish but I need to rant somewhere because I know there are people out there who don't get presents and don't have family to spend it with and I'm thankful for at least that.

If it makes you feel any better Cheryl, I didn't get a single present this year. My fiance and I are too poor to be able to afford to swap gifts this year. We got to watch the cats play with their new toys though.
