| LG FYC Awards Campaign LG - FYC AWARDS CAMPAIGN TARGET REACHED - HALF SIZE B&W AD COST $USD1,930 CHARITY TOTAL - $USD1,548.56 The Charity total will be donated to the Charity of Lauren's Choice. This charity is: The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund List of Contributors So the challenge has now been set. July 31 is the target date and we're going to try and see if we can reach $USD1,930 to donate to The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. We're looking to match the Ad Cost. | I know you have gone to LJ and Twop as well as here. Have you looked in the yahoogroups? I haven't been a member of them in a while but I know there are several groups for Lauren Graham and Gilmore Girls... one or two of them is adult only and several have over 100 members. | |||

| Isn't there an option for a slightly smaller ad, say third of a page or quarter? I mean, instead of it just going to charity, which is nice & all but not our real goal. What do you think? | |||

I can go through them and send something out that way as well. Another way people can help, if they want to get involved: I don’t know if you guys know what TheFacebook is, but it is a school specific “meet” or “friends” site. In any case, my school has one, and on it there is a “Gilmore Girls” Group. I sent a message out to the group (in my school), which is composed of 86 people, about the campaign. If anyone else is a Facebook member (and their school has a GG’s Group), and they would be willing to do this as well, PM me and I will send you the message to put out. Don't be scared away from the price of the ad. It really isn't that much, in the grand scheme of things. Any donation, no matter how small, is appreciated. | |||

| FYI: We actually have an official artist, and the work is now is progress. We will try and keep everyone updated on where we are as far as copyright clearances and contacting who we need to check with. Anyone who wants to donate, but cannot set up paypal/does not have a credit card, email me at lbg7003@yahoo.com and we can discuss other means of getting your contribution into the account. | I think this is an awesome cause whether we are able to get Lauren an ad or donate to her favorite charity (preferably both). I just sent in my donatation and am so happy to be among many others who believe that Lauren deserves an Emmy! Does anyone happen to know what Lauren's favorite charity is? (just curious, I'm sure that no matter what it is, it's a more than worthy cause). | |||

| Look at that running total! Lauren knows that she has a lot of fans that adore her, but this goes beyond that. It says "you're adored and we think it's about damn time you were recognized and acknowledged by a certain group of individuals who have the power to give you something you so greatly deserve." At least to me it says that.  I have no job right now, but I think contibuting to this is more important than toilet paper.__________________ Oh, what have you done now? Nothing. | Just sent my donation. I'm guessing charity wise, Lauren would probably the extra money to go to Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program since she played for it on Celebrity Poker. I forget, did Lauren play for that research program when she played on Celebrity Jeopardy?  __________________ | |||
