Opening night is only two weeks away, if they decide to replace Oliver, well.. that person better be AMAZING. If all of this is just a rumor and Oliver isn't going anywhere, well... they better start talking to him and fix all this little problems, people have been seeing on stage.

They can't just talk to Oliver, i'm sure they did that already, maybe he's just not right for this role
