there were unfortunately some dates in April that Lauren wouldn't be performing. The guy at the theatre office told us and even wrote the dates down for us: april 7th, 9th, 14th, 15th and 16th. Possibly the 8th also.

*REMINDER*
This thread is going to see a lot of action in the coming days and months. TO make sure that things are somewhat organized, please make sure that you post your experiences/information in the most appropriate threads.

Post sightings/experiences (Stagedoor pics and videos) with Lauren in the Met/Saw thread.
Post information/reviews/thoughts about Lauren in G&D or about G&D itself in this thread.
Post things about heading to NYC, trips to NYC in the Meet and Greet thread.

We don't want to clog threads like this with things that don't relate to the play itself.

Thanks

Biting my tongue.... aren't I good?

Glad it looks like the pilot is being shot though.

Thanks for the new thread, Shannon.

And thanks for the information, Blaab.

I just found out about a hour ago, that I am going to see the show again on April 5th, Sunday. Looking at the dates Blaab gave it looks like I am safe. PHEW!

How many times will that be for you now, Deana?

Looks like you're safe if you stick with weekend shows.

I noticed there are 2 understudies for Adelaide. I wonder if they will use the same one every time Lauren is out, or switch it up. It would make more sense to use the same one, imo.

LOL...this will only be the 3rd time. I still haven't passed Claire (I think Claire saw it more then 3 times, but maybe it was somone else. If it isn't you Claire, then I apologize) and Ellevee. LOL But my friend wanted to see the show and she didn't know I had gone already so I told her if she got the tickets I would of course go again. So she got the tickets.

Thanks for the new thread Shannon.

and thanks for the info Babette, I'm really surprised she is taking so much 'time off' so soon after opening, I know they have limited time to shoot TBS pilot but is just seems so soon after the opening of the show and she's back plane hopping like she was with Evan Almighty a few years back.

I don't know how she does it, I'm tired just reading about it

Maybe they need an understudy for the understudy

Where is she plane hopping too?

Anyway, it looks like all the days off are Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday so getting tickets for the middle of the week doesn't look good.

During the last part of S6 Lauren was flying to the Evan Almighty set on the east coast weekly.

I think she meant now.

She's going to be shooting THe Bridget Show in LA instead of NYC like we first thought.

Glade that's all cleared up

Again it's a shame it's not being shot in NY which woulb be much easier for Lauren.

Okay, I have to admit that seems like quite a few dates in a short period of time to miss. I hope those with tickets are able to figure something out. I've seen shows with understudies before and they were actually great, but it would be different if it is Lauren that is being missed.

Thank you blaab for the info - that is good of you to share all of that to try and help people.
