Hey everybody!
This is a thread to discuss about a present we'd like to give Lauren from all of us, to express our admiration and love and especially to show her that no award can change her amazing acting skills!

Our present:
Each one of us sends a postcard to their country coordinator who will send them to the US coordinator who will put them all in a photobook. Each country will have a banner with names/pics and we'll all write a letter together to explain.

Let's show the Academy how wrong they are!!!

The deadline to join this project was July 23rd so we can't let anyone else join.

The deadline to send postcards was August 15th.

I'm adding here the letter for Lauren. It's not the definitive version, just something to start with.

Dear Lauren,
hi! We're a group of fans from all over the world, who met on an internet community called "FanForum", maybe you've heard about that.
We're all big fans of Gilmore Girls: some of us love Lorelai with Luke, others prefer Christopher, but on one point we all agree: your amazing talent.
No matter which way the show heads every week, we're all in awe of your acting performances and your way of expressing so much with just one look.
That's why we decided to organize this present for you.
The idea came right after the Emmy nominations: we were so mad at the jury that we wanted, no, wait, we NEEDED to do something. And that's how this project saw the light.
We have discussed for a long time about what we should do, then the postcards idea sounded like the best one: in this way, you can see there's people literally from all over the world who appreciate and respect your work, and who are looking forward to your new projects!
We hope you'll enjoy reading everything we've written (or something else to close the letter, my brain's not working properly right now).

i don't know, i can't answer your questions cause we didn't agree on anything...we said we wanna write a letter, then nothing happened, so now i suggested a chat where we could discuss this...we have to share ideas...if anyone else has another idea instead of letter say it this is nothing final...

The suggestion was to write a summary of all things we would like to say in the letter, so we can collect them and make one letter with everybody´s input. The chat would be made in order to know everybody´s ideas, so those who have similar thoughts can work them out together.

And I know I´m relative new here, but I read in last thread you were thinking about adopting an animal, what happened with that idea? Do you think we can make it work somehow, along with the letter?
I´m just thinking, new thread, new hope

Hi! I'm Lori and I'm new here but a HUGE Lauren fan. I'd like to participate in something here. I don't know what you've all decided yet, but I'm game. I live in Southern CA and I would love to meet Lauren. LA is only a couple of hours away but I'm not a stalker so I'll have to wait for that chance encounter like anyone else. Lol! I'll keep checking back to see what's going on.
