Thanks so much everyone for the love! I've been honing my art skills since I first picked up a crayon in kindergarten. I mostly do pencil portraits, but I'm delving into pastels and teaching myself. I also paint landscapes too. Since I was little I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Well, I am an artist. I just don't make any money at it. Lol! That's probably because I give away my best works as gifts. I don't know why I never got an art degree in college or did anything with it as a career. I guess I just like the fact that my art makes people happy. I may not have gotten a pic with Lauren, but I got to show my appreciation with my handmade portrait and that's what mattered. That, and according to Ariel, who saw her face when I gave it to her, she lit up when she saw the portrait and she genuinely thanked me. Like I said, I can now die a happy woman!
