Nine was really good. Cee, Penelope Cruz definitely gives Jane Krakowski a run for her money in her version of "A Call from the Vatican." Daniel Day Lewis and Marion Cotillard are also absolutely wonderful in their roles. I love them both. Even Fergie isn't bad in it. I wasn't sure how it would compare to the stage version, but I love the cinematography and they can do some really cool things on film that they obviously can't do on stage, and Rob Marshall definitely took advantage of that.

Shannon, have a good trip and feel better! Rest up tomorrow!

wow,everybody's sick these days.
my sister's class got cancelled because of the swine flu today. I already told her: "dare you bring the flu into this house!"

Aw,the kids are singing again. I don't know if it's just a German tradition or a European one but on November 10th and 11th the kids here are going from one house to the next and sing a song. At the end they get candy for it. Like on Halloween. They are not dressed up though. And the reason why they are doing it is because of St. Martin. They are sooo cute. I opened the door a few minutes ago and there were 3 little kids singing so happily even though it was raining very hard

Chrissi- people in Southern Italy celebrate St Martin as well. We don't over here, but one of my roommates is from Southern Italy and last year we had a party. Kinda cool.

I was too tired yesterday to come online. We totally missed our New Adventures of Old Christine taping yesterday so instead we went shopping for Saturday in Burbank. Yay Burbank. In my mind it was always like Stars Hollow muhaha but it's not. We'll go to Barnes & Nobles today.

I wonder if US tours are anything like WB tours. Because we were just like "gilmore girls!" And that's what we did all day. Aaaand I chimed in with "Matthew Perry!" So we stalked him all day too. I wonder if you could get on a tour and be like "Parenthood. Let's go find them. K? Thanks" Lol.

I slept a good (well, not very restful) 15 hours. Woo!
