I don't think Lauren would be afraid of cancellation, more than any other actor. But she said she wanted a break from those 16 hour days and even though see has kept herself busy Lauren has a more flexible life right now, I can see why she wouldn't want to be tied to a TV show right now.

But the shellfish side of me wants her back on TV in the Fall, sitcom or drama I don't care

she shouldn't have to be afraid of cancellation.. if shes involved in something i think in this time in her career SHES the one that will prevent a cancellation!

But as is proven every year even the best ideas with the best cast and writers can fail to find an audience.

Gilmore was one of those rare shows where things worked out and for the most part the ratings were enough to keep it going even is outside the WB/CW it didn't break any records as those so called peers didn't recognise the show enough to award it with an Emmy or two!

Well I think we've established that we'll watch anything with her in it, even if it's just part of her..like her voice! (or just horrendously bad movies like Lucky 13

)

Ha, very true. I still can't believe I actually sat down to watch that movie and didn't stop watching till the end of it. If I recall correctly I did fastforward some ...

But I do agree with Craig (if I understood you correctly). Sure, LG has a loyal fanbase, but even the highest ratings of GG on the WB/CW would have meant a cancelled show on the bigger networks (of course there would have been more exposure if on a bigger network, so maybe it would have survived on there too). But her fanbase I am sure is not bigger than the loyal GG fanbase was, so that alone I would not think is enough to create a success. And I also think so many factors have to be completely right (of which some seem to be ones that are hard to define), which makes it very difficult to predict if a show will be a hit or miss. I am sure the formula would already have been discovered if there actually was one.

All this of course does not mean I do not want to see her on a new TV show.

Thanks for the laugh! I hope you didn't have to pay a lot. I am glad I just *coughed* that one. I do not mind spending money, but I am very sorry to say that one was not worth much anyway

Oh I didn't spend much money, I rented Reefer Madness and Lucky 13 and they charged me a total of 8.46 cents for all the overdue fees andn the movies.

I'll just say that I paid all that for Reefer Madness and got Lucky for free!

Yeah that's about it Babette, just look at Amy's RoJJ, on paper a good project, interesting story, great actors and Writer but it didn't work.

BTW - I've been waiting for Lucky 13 to come back on TV so I can record it, don't think I'd waste my money buying it even for Lauren and that last scene

I wonder if Lauren (and others) have a video/dvd collection of their work, I guess they get sent a free copy from the studio?

She said she had a straight to DVD collection.

Dunno if she meant there's a straight to DVD collection with her or she has her own.
