I agreed with the few last post (on the last thread) Good on Melissa, great new show and now a hit movie. Yes Lauren will be 'back' and while she has PH I think some are hoping she can have a hit movie as well. I love the work she has done but none of her movies have really been big hits at the box office. As for Alexis I don't think she is over, The Conspirator is getting good buzz and she has several other projects in the works, plus she is just 29 so has many years ahead of her.

Back to Lauren, I hope she has a good break with Peter and we get some new interviews (press and TV) from here in September to promote the shows return and that she is looking at movie projects while writing her book. Now she's on NBC I'd hope that has some sway with movie studios to cast her as a lead in a summer movie release in 2012.

BTW Marriage Ref, do we know anything else about her ep?

I took it as being good, like a suggestion that it's time for these 2 to be rewarded for their work.

And Oprah has nothing to do with it. This is EW's weekly bullseye. Middle of the target is good, outside the target is bad- aka Elvira and Snooki monkey.

They must mean Peter getting a nod for PH cuz he's got more than a few Emmy noms for SFU & has won a couple SAGs. But good that EW is talking up Lauren! There needs to be more of that. Ugh, I was stressed waiting around to get a 3rd season and now I'm stressed waiting around for an Emmy nod! lol Here's hoping for the best! *crosses fingers*

Not sure if this has been mentioned at some point or not or if this is even where this goes but I was just reading in the new TV Guide that The Marriage Ref will start airing on June 26th. Didn't mention anyone who will be on it though. Fingers crossed that Lauren will be on the first show.

I hope we get to see Lauren on The Marriage Ref sooner rather than later, given the delays I don't thing NBC has much faith in the show.
