In the new ET mag where they have the "Out - 5 Minutes ago - In, Lauren is the In as Actor/novelist. Awwww

I am hoping that we will see her book mentioned in the Books section soon.

Awesome interview! Was wondering where she got the name Franny from, now we know! Also loved learning about her writing process.

I have a love/hate relationship when she recommends books...because I always have to buy them as soon as I can. Just ordered the three there I haven't read from amazon *sigh*.

Love the interview though, thank you

Same! And I think it's time for me to read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It's been on my list for too long.

Thanks for posting the interview, gjoni. It was really interesting.

I first read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn when I was 12 or 13.

Just finished reading Tell The Wolves I'm Home. It was hard to put down. It was interesting to see that Jennifer Smith is Carol Rifka Brunt's editor, too. Now I need to pick another book off of Lauren's list and see if I can get it finished before her book comes out. With everything that comes up about her book it just makes me more anxious to read it. Just 13 more days.

Thanks for posting the link to the interview. Great read.

Still have not read or listened to any of the book. Getting anxious. Already ordered the hard cover and audiobook versions. Will probably also get the Nook book. This is costing a fortune!!

Bev, I know what you mean, but Lauren is so worth it Your will power is amazing. I'm really good when it comes to not reading or watching anything about Parenthood in advance, but have so failed when it comes to Lauren's book and have read and listened to everything, some more than once. Hanging head now.
