Thanks Nadine,

It seams weird they are taking so long for different countries to see it when it's been out here on DVD and Pay TV.

Do you want to post that on The Amateurs thread

Off to post it there now, just was doing some FoG work, so hadn't had a chance to post it in there yet.

I'm not surprised about the segmented releases, since Domestic (North America) can be different from International. It's the reason some countries don't get films for years.

Blog Critics have put their review up for the final season of GG - some good praises for LG in there.

Thanks Nadine, Lauren was about the only reason I watched the last season and that was touch and go given some of the comments she made at the season launch.

Thanks Nadine!

I think the review was right on and I absolutely love what is said about Lauren, it's all so true and we know it but it's a plus to read it from others.

Quote:
The series always had two great strengths, Palladino’s writing and Lauren Graham’s performance. Even though the writing isn’t there, Lauren Graham is still amazing.
as always

Quote:
But ultimately, it’s Lauren Graham who makes the show so good. She is the center of everything, and is able to skillfully navigate between comedy and drama, frequently using her comedy as mask for the sadness underneath.
Lauren showed her amazing acting skills throughout the entire show. Just the way she can switch between emotions is so great to see.

I still think she should receive a special award for 7 years of a wonderful performance in GG.

Lauren got a very quick mention in this interview with Robert Maschio - it's a great interview for any fans of Scrubs.

Quote:
I took an Eliot, Joyce and Pound class at the time with my buddy Danny Futterman, who wrote Capote, the screenplay, and he's done really well as an actor-- and Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls, we were friends in college. Some of the more talented people weren't from drama school or from pounding the pavement in New York, they're from my days at Columbia.
