*waves* Hello everyone! This thread is to celebrate the 5 ½ year anniversary of the Lauren Graham Board. Happy half-Birthday!!!

We decided to celebrate 5 ½ years at the board because we’ve never had a celebration here before. Once we found out when the board was first added to Fan Forum in 2003, we wanted to celebrate Lauren and her fans as soon as we could. So, here we are honoring our board’s half-birthday! Thanks so much for stopping by and please don’t hesitate to join in the celebration!

We want to start out by saying a huge THANKS to our posters here at the board. Along with our 5 ½ year celebration, we also surpassed 175,000 posts this past week (and just a week later 176,000). 175,000! That’s so amazing, guys! The board wouldn’t be what it is without all of our posters - the regulars and the occasional drop-ins. So, thanks so much for sticking with us!! It‘s great that even after all this time, the Lauren board is still so active. *hugs*

EVERYTHING, people, scoop...Lauren fans are always nice, every one of them...There are lot of fav memories, but i had such a good time when we all watched Lauren interviews and GG together, chatting. I don't think i ever laughed like that You all proved me how crazy, smart and funny you are. It's my pleasure to post here with you, and to be an LG mod. Sooo, i guess i'm first

I began posting on LG board in 2006. I discovered FF when i was searching for GG spoilers and was really happy to see that there is a board for Lauren, i started posting immediately (at least i think i did

). So i'm here for over 2 years. What i like about this board? EVERYTHING, people, scoop, first i was afraid to post cause i know lots of people on message boards are rude, unpleasant but all of you here proved me wrong. Lauren fans are always nice, every one of them. When it comes to me i'm a bitch sometimes, so if i ever hurt anyone (which i did) i apologize. This is the best place to do it. I consider all of you my friends. But there is one girl that i call best (online) friend, my Kathrin, i'm so glad i met you, and i'm happy i can talk to you almost every day.

We're lucky to have people like Nadine, Ele, Katka, Anita, Denise and many more. You are our heroes. Cause of you everything can be found here, in one place, interviews, pics, news, even gossip. Thank you.

Wow, Congrats! I think the post number shows that there really are people really crazy about Lauren

I don't post here that often, mainly because It get the "extract" of all the news here over on the GG board.
Also I don't remember when started posting here, but I remember that the first time I came to this board I was like "Oh my god! How do these people get all these infos and pics?!"
The mystery hasn't been solved for me until today, but I guess it doesn't really matter. However I can assure you that I spend hours here lurking, looking at pics, reading the comments and watching videos of interviews or videos somebody made.

I guess this is the time to say "Thank you" to all those who must invest a lot of work and time not only to keep the board running, but also to get infos and pictures, record videos, so research on the tiniest things and make those great art (no matter if banners, avas, videos...). So: THANK YOU

It´s going to be my "3 years on the board" anniversary this month. That´s a lot, right? And I still love this board as much as I did the first time I posted. I think the first thread I posted was actually a Dirty thread.lol I was lurking here for a short time and enjoyed everyones posts. Then I saw this pic for the first time and felt the urge to post it (duh, you can see her bellybutton there.lol).

so that´s how I started to post here. Inteligent first post, don´t you think?lol

The best thing on this board is that we have all the news first. Mainly thanks to Nadine. It´s such a Lauren news centre. it´s here first and then it travels around the net. And good thing is that everyone is trying to participate somehow. Bringing news, making clips, pictures, etc.

But the main thing what have made me to visit this site for such a long time is the community of fans. I too consider all the regulars here as my friends. The "real" people around me always wonder when I say things like "oh, my friend from Holland said...", "I have a friend in Texas so Im affraid to hear about the tornado", "My friend from LA invited me over", "You are going to Lisbon?My friend studies there", "My friend who lives near Zagreb..." "my friend from Italy is going to be a doctor".lol. And of course I can´t forget my friends from Germany.-) Im happy that I´ve met some people from here in person, especially Ele, who I can´t imagine not to talk to every day on icq. And I love that I got to see Dresden and Berlin thanks to her. I like that we all can chat about anything and everything on OT thread and that I got to know more about you and your country that way.
And on the other hand, it´s always sad to see some of the regulars leave.

And now I want to apologize for my bad english.lol. I gave up an effort for my posts to be grammaticaly correct a long time ago.lol Everytime I reread some of my older posts I want to pull my hair. soooorry.lol
