In honor of Father's Day, I thought about Larry Graham today! It's mostly because I had the fantastic opportunity to see him in person last Sunday. I was truly moved that he went to support Lauren's last show and it was so sweet he was there by himself.

Besides my own dad of course, theirs is one of my favorite father/daughter stories ever. I love that she is so close to him and that he raised her by himself for so many years.

I know we've all seen these pics, but on what better day to bring them out again?

I love that he went to see it so many times.

I'm hoping one bright spot of G&D not playing today is that Lauren got to spend a relaxing Father's Day with him.

Oprah had a Father's Day show on Friday and there was a story about a single father and of course it made me think of Larry and Lauren. Such a great story and thanks for those pics. I never tire of seeing them.

Michelle, thanks for the picture post, it´s so sweet. I love the second pic too, and now I always think of Lauren sitting on the field, watching her dad to play baseball. adorable.

and I still think it´s surreal that I got to see him in theater too. Two treats for one price

I went to my favourite restaurant with my mom today and while having desserts we where flipping through the gossip magazines and I spotted Lauren in two of them, both dealing with the Tonys.

The first one is just a pic but I like the fact that they just mention Laurens name and not Gilmore Girls.

The secone one is really weird, they're totally making up a story, letting Lauren sound like a bitch. According to the article she didn't like what Bret was doing on the red carpet. They quoted her complaining "I hate people who're doing such nonsense activities - just to attract attention".

They didn't even mention her last name though.
