Oh table reads, they must have been fun! I don't think I ever read anything about them, though I remember Alexis once mentioned she loved table reads.

I bet table reads were amazing. I remember talking about it during my WB tour, and our tour guide said GG probably didn't do them... I'm like, well I know they do so let's just move on b/c I'll win this one. Hahaha.

Yeah most shows like GG do table reads, it's how the writes get feedback to know if things are working and if a re-write is needed...

Trying to think of other shows I've seen either on DVD or TV specials, I remember one going back to Murphy Brown. I think Buffy they did one but I'm not sure. The best one was the behind the scenes for Doctor Who and Torchwood, both having making of special eps for each episode and sometimes the table read inter cut with scenes from the show to see the read and then the finished product.

Have any of you seen this interview? Lauren talks about all her fav places in LA. And can you tell me if it's actually her saying all these things? Cause it's like THE most revealing interview I've come across, and she doesn't really like talking about her life (apart from the single father-daughter annecdotes) I hope it's not fake!

Yep, it's real. It appeared in the "weekend" section of the LA Times on 6/28/07. (I own a copy of it.)

In honor of Father's Day, I thought about Larry Graham today! I don't know whether or not I would have if I hadn't had the fantastic opportunity to see him in person last Sunday. I was truly moved that he went to support Lauren's last show and it was so sweet he was there by himself.

Besides my own dad of course, theirs is one of my favorite father/daughter stories ever. I love that she is so close to him and that he raised her by himself for so many years.

I know we've all seen this pics, but on what better day to bring them out again?
