Ive always thought this was in reference to her earlier career, during the commercial times and townies etc, when things didn't go too good!
I think most of the songs she named as meaning the most to her, were more so to do with the past. Case of you probably for a young love, or i like to think, unrealistically i might add, Matty

Mhm well, I don't know how to combine To Zion with Lauren's personal life since Lauren Hill sings about her son Zion and the decision to keep him or follow her career and I don't think Lauren has been in that position or I at least hope she hasn't. But maybe it just reminds her to listen to herself when deciding something important...

To Zion... while Ele is sending it to me, I really start thinking all over again... why it means so much to her... how really she can relate to it or if she just uses it as reminder, like Ele said.

I hope she doesn't really relate to it. That would be so sad.

ABBA's 'Head over Heals' reminds me of Lauren. No idea why, though^^
