So, yesterday and last night I listened to The Answer Man commentary, the Chatterbox interview, and the Ask a Star interview all in a row.

After doing so, I just want to say that Lauren is an extremely intelligent, quick-witted, and hilarious person. She is fun . . . and I, for one, am extremely glad that she is willing to show her silly side sometimes. Quite frankly, some people take things WAY too seriously. I love the way she gets so excited telling a story and often can crack herself up. But the very coolest thing is that she is able to laugh at herself. I wish more people had that capability. On top of all that, she is so freaking talented I sometimes can't believe it.

So, I had all those thoughts and was enjoying all these things about Lauren and I came across someone criticizing her like I could not believe -- about the choices in her career, about her personality, about how she treats the entertainment industry (which is apparently why she doesn't get any decent jobs)

, and about how she treats her fans. It was utterly out of line, because the person spewing out these judgments is someone who is very uneducated and literally does nothing with their life. None of this happened anywhere near this board, by the way. The worst part was that, in a rant about Lauren being inarticulate, the person cannot even spell. Cah-razy.

Anyhow, I just felt the need to write the things I love about Lauren to counteract the bashing. I am incredibly proud of her and her career and am glad to be a fan.

ETA: Just watched Ask a Star for the second time in two days. Her telling the "Slap that Bass" story is the best thing in the world. "It's an instrument, slap that bass, not a fish slap that bass."

Michelle, I think I may have seen the post about Lauren you are reffering to, or at least it was very familiar. And I agree with you 100%.

Listening to all of that, you had to have very nice and funny evening.lol

I didn't see the post in question but whenever I start reading something such as that, as soon as I realize what it is, I just move on to something else. I feel no need to read such things. A person has a right to his opinion and I have a right to disregard it. I can say this much, in all the comments I've read on Lauren (which is a lot), a huge percentage of them are very positive. Most people love Lauren and see the talent that we in this forum do.

I haven't read the post as well, but I always hate persons like that.. How can you judge someone's career choices or personality like that? I totally agree with you as well Michelle!

You can't judge someone by there choices good or bad we all make them. I think Lauren herself would agree some choices have been better than others but I don't think she regrets any of them. The choices Lauren has made is what makes the beautiful person we see today.

That's awesome! I would like to see her on there. But I guess it isn't going to happen anytime soon with Parenthood coming up and all.

I thought it would be more likely to happen sometime in the new year to help promote the new show, remember Lauren will have a lighter work load on Parenthood. Maybe if Lauren or one of her other cast members does the show then other cast member could go no there as well?

Normally I hate self promotion stuff like this but with Lauren I'll make an exception

hope it happens.
