YAY!!! It's Kind of a Funny Story starts airing on Cinemax tomorrow night at 10pm. I have it on DVD, but it is nice to see that it has finally hit TV. It has a major Lauren lead in (on different channels) starting with GG at 4pm, 5pm & 6pm, Lucky 13 also at 6pm and BISS at 8pm. I wonder if I can lock myself up in a room and have an eight hour Lauren night?
ETA: just counted and with IKoaFS playing 7 times, BISS 2 times and GG 3 times on Sunday, that gives us 20 hours give or take of Lauren in one day. Last edited by SarahJ5941; 07-29-2011 at 10:00 AM |

Sarah, that´s some Lauren marathon. Impressive. It reminded me that I have yet to get the DVD.
ETA: oh, I found out that it´s coming out on a DVD here next week. wow. what a coincidence.lol btw. the czech name of the movie is "Something like a comedy".lol I´m always so surprised when some of her movies make it here. Maybe one day we´ll get the GG DVDs, too. sigh. __________________

Katka, that is a funny coincidence that the DVD is coming out there next week. Perfect timing. Will it be in English so you get Lauren's voice? Always love the way the titles change for each country. Fingers crossed that some day GG will come out on DVD there.

My computer kicked me out twice while I was watching and one of the times, just as I got back on, they started talking about IKOAFS and Ned Vizzini getting the award. I got a warm and fuzzy kind of feeling because Lauren was connected to two projects that received awards last night.

I just read that this morning, it is so sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. It's a shame and so sad that so many young people are dying either by accident or suicide.

Just watched this the other day on the Sundance channel. Was kind of surprised to see it show up but it was fun to watch again.

That is sad but I always have mixed feelings when someone takes their our life. They must have been in pain but it is a bit selfish doing that and leaving family and friends behind.
