Maybe Lauren recognized this person as someone she had already taken a picture with and had enough. Now that is rude not to leave her alone. I got to meet her once and that was good enough. I wouldn't have bothered her a second time or chased her down the street like that Adina girl. I guess everyone has their own idea or rude. Someone posted about Luke Wilson who is here filming a movie now. They said he was rude because he wouldn't sign an autograph because he was in the middle of eating dinner. He had every right to refuse and the person who asked at a time like that was the rude one.

I think this is taken out of context. We don't know what caused Lauren to be rude, maybe just a bad day, or she told the photographer to leave before and he didn't listen

I have never understood how anyone (celebrity or not) not wanting to be photographed (and well step out of the range, getting into the house in this matter) can be conceived as rude. Where this notion comes from that it is a photographers right to take pictures of anyone he/she wants to take pics of and the object of the picture just has to stand there to pleasure the photographer I simply do not get.

I think it is very nice if an actor is willing to pose for a pic or not walk out of sight, but that being said, the actor at the same time has every right not wanting a pic to be taken. I do not see what having that right has to do with being rude at all.

I feel the same way about autographs.

Babette, I agree. It shouldn't be taken for granted that an actor is supposed to please a photographer's wish on command.

I think she doesn´t mind fans to take amateur pics of her, cos we saw planty of those but if the guy was profesional she might thought he´s paparazzi(and maybe he was) so she didn´t want to do anything with him.

I don't think that was rude of her either. I'm actually glad she finally said a definite no. She had every right. Plus she was working there and I guess when you shoot a movie, even between takes, you have to be in a certain mood for the part and when you get bothered every five minutes by annoying photographers or fans that doesn't help and still she had been so nice to everyone until that point.

I agree Lauren had enough and she has the right to say no, but it's these stories that lead to the "Lauren is a witch (with a B)" you never hear much about the 100s if not 1000s of fans that have met her and taken photos and stuff. We only get to hear a few of them.

BTW - what's worse, having someone in her face trying to take pictures or someone with a long lens taking them from a distance without her knowing until they end up in a tabloid about her eating habits or something?

Yeah if it was a professional photographer they should be ashamed for being such a nitch that they actually made her go get someone to escort them away from her. I'm glad she didn't do that to the fans though. I mean if the fans had gone after her, chasing her for photos, and yelling obsentities then I can see her wanting her space. But it seems as though she knows how to differentiate between fans and those trying to make a buck or two from taking her picture.

I am sure this happens often though.

Thanks for that piece. It could definately have been a photographer who was constantly taking pics of her. I would hate it too.
