Craig, that was me on twitter, tweeting. Not Ellevee.

Part 2:

The crowd was wild by the stage door today. And I don’t mean wild in a bad way, they were just all excited to meet Lauren, and many were older women probably in their 60’s. They loved the show and stated that “The NY Times gave G&D’s a wrong review.” They loved Lauren as well. There were a few teenagers, but not that many. Lauren was very chatty today. She was on her “game, “very funny, friendly and personable.

Let me start off by saying that Ellevee took at 6 minute + video of Lauren signing from the time she came out to the time she went back inside. So everything is all on tape. She is going to the show tonight so she won’t be able to post her pictures and video until late tonight. But she promised to do it.

When Lauren came out everyone cheered and was excited. Lauren did her thing and started signing. Some asked for pictures and Lauren told them that she couldn’t do pictures but could take pictures of her. The fans were fine with that.

Oliver came out with Lauren. They started on opposite ends, but met in the middle in from of Ellevee and I. As they were passing one another Oliver leans in and says something to Lauren very quietly. So Lauren goes "What?". Oliver then says it again but lounder. Then all of a sudden Lauren goes in her funny, sarcastic voice "Well you whispered it to me I didn't know if it was a secret." Everyone started laughing, including Oliver. I couldn't hear what Oliver said to Lauren. Ellevee might have, did you? You will be able to see it all and hear the exact dialogue on Elleveel's video though.

When Lauren got to the girl next to me she signed her playbill. The girl then said can I take a picture with you. Lauren as she always does in her sweet voice and apologetic said no I can’t sorry. The girls then says:

Girl: “Well can I turn this way hold my arm out and snap a picture of us?” (the girl then turns away from Lauren to show her how she would turn to get a pic of her and Lauren.

Lauren: (in her very funny and sarcastic voice) “It’s a free country. I can’t tell you what to do. Do it if you want.” (Lauren starts laughing).

Everyone started laughing, including the girl. The girl then turned and snapped the picture while Lauren smiled.

Now before I go on with the story I must first tell you that when I was with Katka, Denise, Shannon and Claire a few weeks ago, they were “sort of” making fun of me for the picture I wanted signed. It isn’t that great of a picture, but I just love the outfit Lauren has on. LOL

When Lauren got to me, I wasn’t holding out my “Glow” magazine and the picture I wanted signed so she waited a minute and looked at me. I handed her the picture and magazine and here is what our exchange was (I am doing it to the best of my memory so it might not all be accurate, but you get the jest of it. You can all see it on Ellevee’s video though):

Lauren: “OMG! What is this?”
Deana: “I love this picture because of your outfit.”
Lauren: “Yes, but it’s so old.”
Deana: “Yes, but I love this outfit you have on. It is my favorite outfit you have worn.”
Lauren: (laughing) “I don’t even have that top anymore.
Deana: (laughing) “Oh, really, darn.”
Lauren: “When is this from anyway?”
Deana: “I don’t know from and event in like 2002 or something.”
Lauren: “Yea, exactly.”

Lauren now moves onto signing the Glow magazine.

Lauren: “And what is this?” (in funny sarcastic voice)
Deana: “A magazine.”
Lauren: “Yea, but it is a Canadian magazine from like 9 years ago.” (starts laughing again)
Deana: (laughing) “Yes, but it is a really good article.”
Lauren: “You have a lot of retro stuff… (now she starts walking away so I couldn’t hear her well, so I will have to hear what her ending sentence is to me when Ellevee posts the video, but I do think that it was funny because some started laughing).

Ellevee and Lauren also had a funny exchange. Now keep in mind that Ellevee bought a fake Gucci hate with a Yankee’s logo on the street. The hat had GG’s on it. The logo sign for Gucci.

Ellevee: “Will you sign this?”
Lauren: “Sure” (not noticing the gg)
Ellevee: “You see the double gg’s?
Lauren: “Oh, yes. I do now. To everyone else it is for fake Gucci, but to you it is Gilmore Girls.” Lauren then walks away laughing.

Another nice story, there was 2 young teens. They were so excited to see Lauren. They didn’t have anything for her to sign so they had her sign her converse sneakers. Lauren was so nice because the first girl asked for her to sign it on the white part and Lauren told her that it would rub off so she was going to sign on the canvas part. Then she signed the next girl’s sneaker. While Lauren was signing I said to Lauren you have to give it to the girls it is pretty smart of them to have you sign their sneakers. Lauren acknowledged what I said and shook her head and said yes. The girls were so excited they were screaming.

I think that’s about it. But if I missed anything Ellevee will fill you guys in.

Lauren was great about stopping so everyone could get head on pictrues of her. Some even asked her to stop and she did. She saw I was trying to take the below picture (first picture) and she stopped and looked at the camera for me. Shannon, Katka and Denise you would have loved what she had on today. Her tight leggins with sneakers and a Barnard sweatshirt. She looks hot. LOL
