Alexis is going to be on TV on April 21st in a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie on ABC. She is co-starring with Zachary Levi. The movie is called Remember Sunday. It will be on at 9pm.

I missed the GG reference on Smash. I guess I should stop reading while watching TV
 I will have to find it and watch it again.Really liked that ep. Loved it when Lorelai pushed Emily out of the one room and banged on the door. Can't remember if the door said quiet or something else, but Emily got the drift Have had my DVR set to record Remember Sunday for about a week now. Anxious to watch it. OT: Man, lost my avi again!!! |

Yes it was the Quiet Room! I love the scene of Lorelai and Emily at the bar, up until the moment when they fight. The Lorelai/Emily relationship has always been one of my favorites because it's so complex, so I like when I see them together. Like when they did the fashion show for Chilton too.

I love the moments, as few as they are, when Lorelai and Emily are getting along and wish that there had been more of them. Now here is where everyone will want to stone me, Emily is one of my least favorite character on the show. Don't know if it is because I hate people who treat others the way that she treats Lorelai or even the way she talks about her own so called friends or if it is just that I really did have a Lorelai/Rory relationship with my mom except if her mother treated her the way that Emily treats Lorelai, especially in front of me, I sure wouldn't just sit there and let it happen. Maybe it's a combination of the two. At any rate, as much as I do like Kelly Bishop and think that she is amazing to be able to play Emily as mean as she does, I will fast forward through Emily scenes unless they are major Lorelai scenes. That said, I agree with you, Val, regarding the bar scenes in that ep before the fight. They were great scenes to watch. Loved the scene in this ep when they were packing up to go home and Emily asked why she and Lorelai couldn't have a relationship like Lorelai and Rory and how Lorelai convinced Emily to take the robes. Loved that fashion show, too. Also loved it when, once in a while at the FND table, Lorelai would be going on like she does and says something that make Emily laugh for just a second.
