Good question. I think I GG. But I loved her in Parenthood too.

I just think in Parenthood, they didn't seem to always know what to do with her character, so they just wrote her into love triangles. She was the lead in GG so they had to come up with more than just relationship stuff (although they did have a lot of that too).

So I guess I have to say GG overall.

Was GG also when you first fell in love with her?

rossfangirl86 07-29-2018 03:47 PM

GG is really the only project I've seen of hers so that's my favorite as well. Planned Parenthood looked like a good show, I just never got around to watching it.

Probably.

Although I had watched her before that in Townies and Caroline in the City. But yes, I suppose my appreciation grew from Gilmore Girls for sure.

I haven't seen either of those two.

Lol, they're very 90's shows. You might be able to find some clips on youtube. :D

Cadenf 07-31-2018 03:11 PM

I have heard of them, I should check them out on YouTube...thanks for the suggestion.

the_strawberry_girl 07-31-2018 09:01 PM

If you check them out, you must report back here and let us know what you think. :)

Cadenf 08-01-2018 03:05 PM

Won't be for a week or two.

the_strawberry_girl 08-01-2018 07:15 PM

We'll be here! ;)

I've read that Scott aka Luke might write a GG Book..

I have to ask why? I mean he loved it to be a part of the Show but.... I'm not sure if he can write books. His music career might be going well. It's not my taste but I know some fans and they like the songs. Maybe he can tell us some behind the scenes stories. We'll see..

Cadenf 08-02-2018 06:07 PM

^ interesting. I would check it out just to see what it was actually about! :)

I'd read it if he wrote about his experience and behind the scenes stuff. He's never really written anything that we would read, so he might be fine at it. And a book goes through an editor, etc that would help.

I'm not sure how well the music is going, and he's doing the coffee thing too, but doesn't seem to be doing much acting. He needs to make money some how.

Keiko has written a book as well. Good for her! It's not about GG though.

CohenGal 08-04-2018 08:31 AM

I've seen Keiko posting a lot about her book lately and it looks interesting (I might be able to use pieces of it with my students). I didn't know Scott was writing one, though! I suppose I'd be curious to check it out.

He asked this on twitter:

"They want me to write a Gilmore book, what it was like. On the fence. Would y’all read it?"

So obviously not a done deal yet.

I'd read it out of curiosity. :)
