I finished it last night. It was sad but hopeful. I went to bed a snotty mess though

Don't read if you can't handle cursing or bodily functions. They don't bother me, but some may be sensitive to that.

These are the times I wish I lived in NY or LA.

Rory Gilmore got a fun shout-out during the Emmys. (Removing spoiler tags now.)

I heard that.

Sad that's the closest Gilmore girls got to the Emmy's this year. (I mean, on the prime time show, since Alexis' win was not on it.)

Good for them!!!

Speaking of Amy & Dan, and Michael Ausiello, Michael posted this on his IG today.

The caption reads: Just got this email from Dan Palladino and I had to share: "Amy and I were at Tea & Sympathy in the Village and saw this fellow leaving the place with your book in hand! Snapped you a photo." First off, Dan and Amy, FTW. Secondly, does anyone recognize this handsome and well-read stranger? I'd like to thank him for buying my book!

Yay for the Palladino's!

cool People, cool Writers!

Update! I just saw that Amazon says now that there will be only 2 Disks for the DVD for AYITL... no Specials I guess.

A Year In The Life is Netflix's most binge-raced series!

I saw that and wasn't surprised but was happy to see it!

(Obviously the show did extremely well, and I'm not knocking those numbers at all, but they define "binge-raced" series as "shows where viewers watched a full season in a single day or less." Watching one season of some of those other shows in a single day is really difficult, whereas Gilmore Girls is a bit shorter than many and therefore more doable. Again, not trying to discredit the recognition of Gilmore Girls being on top of that list, it just was something on my mind; I'm surprised they didn't allow for two or three days of watching! I did get through all of Gilmore Girls in the first day.)

Yeah, taking account that the series was only 6 hours definitely helped. Most shows have more episodes, and it's hard to fit them all in in one day. British shows are good for speed-binging as they usually also have 4-6 episodes.

But still, good for them!

I watched it all in one go when it was released at midnight, then re-watched it later the same day (although I might have FF some bits).
