Well you only submit a scene so as long as they did that, even if the actual show wasn't realized yet it would make her a contender.

I love that Lin-Manuel Miranda (and his mom) are fans. Lin-Manuel is also a fan of Bunheads.

I enjoyed those tweets, too. It was fun when Lin was tweeting about getting into the show, and I'm glad his mom is also a fan! I wonder if Lin got her hooked.

Ha, I wondered that as well! I'm so curious what episode she was watching.

It was kind of annoying how many wanted to know which Team she is. Dean/Jess/Logan

The Gilmore Girls Fan Festival is coming back! October 20th-22nd, 2017. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, March 1st) at noon EST in case anyone is interested. It sounded like fun last year.

Looks fun, but I think I've got plans that weekend this year. One of my favorite bands just released their tour dates, and they will be in Seattle/Portland/Vancouver that weekend.

Yeah, I can't go, either, but I do think it would be a fun weekend! I wonder what surprises they have up their sleeves this year.

I may not be going to the Gilmore fan fest, but I did go to Emerald City ComicCon today, and had a quick but lovely chat with Sean Gunn. I got an autographed pic of him and Petal, and was able to have him sign a couple of my items, my Ooober air freshener (which he loved), and my GG script (which he spent a long tome looking through, and read out a Kirk line from). Later I got my picture with him. He was very sweet and nice, and so skinny!

There were 3 young girls in front of me in the picture line dressed as Lukes, They were cute.

He couldn't have been nicer. He was there I think really promoting Guardian's of the Galaxy, but he didn't have a problem looking at my GG stuff. I'm sure I wasn't the only one with GG stuff to sign.

‘Gilmore Girls:A Year in the Life’ Season 2: More Episodes on Netflix | TVLine
Quote:
It’s happening again. Maybe.
In the wake of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life‘s runaway success, Netflix has begun exploring the possibility of a second revival. The streamer’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos reportedly told UK’s Press Association that “very preliminary” talks are underway with (presumably) Warner Bros. for more episodes.

“We hope [it happens],” he said. “We obviously loved the success of the show [and] fans loved how well it was done; it delivered what they hoped. The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but [series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec producer Dan Palladino] sure delivered and people were really excited about more. And we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.’

Buoyed in large part by the November release of A Year in the Life, Netflix added a record-shattering 7.05 million subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2016.
When asked about the possibility of returning to Stars Hollow, Sherman-Palladino told TVLine last December, “I don’t rule anything in my life out. When people were talking about a Gilmore movie [after the original series ended] I was always like, ‘That’s not going to happen.’ But I wasn’t going to say no. Because… why say no to anything?”

That said, the auteur — whose Amazon pilot The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel drops later this month — strongly hinted that Another Year in the Life (possible working title?!) was not be imminent. “We’re all very tired,” she conceded. “Dan and I have been in a Gilmore cocoon for a year and a half. It’s been very intense. So we’re stepping back now.”
Not getting my hopes up, but it's nice to know they haven't ruled out the possibility of more and that Netflix was happy with the revival.

I'm not holding my breath either. I'm not sure what other story they could tell, other than to focus on Rory, and honestly I'm not interested in that. But I guess we'll see.

I think the story is finished. I don't need to know how Rory and the baby stuff could kill everything. Amy told her story. I don't need more.
