Claire, would love to join you but I won't be home much during this weekend. Bracebridge Dinner is one of my top 5 eps. Enjoy re-watching. I will try to watch it soon.
|
Unfortunately I now won't be able to watch it on Saturday at noon, either. My best childhood friend (we've been friends for 26 years) just had a baby, so tomorrow I'm going out to NJ to visit her and meet her new son! I'll try to watch on Sunday.

Haven't had time to rewatch myself either, but from what I remember... I know I wanted to punch both Dean and Jess! Jess for being annoying and Dean for having the personality of a shellfish. :P
|
I'm with you on that :)
I really like this ep and would love to re-watch it but I haven't had much time to watch anything this past week or so. Hopefully after the first of the year I can watch it. There will be a GG marathon of Up on the 27th (season 4) and the 30th (season 3) and I doubt if I will be able to catch much if any of either of them. |
It looks like we all had trouble watching the episode. We're up to the next one (2.13 ”A-Tisket, A-Tasket") unless you all think we should extend "The Bracebridge Dinner" an extra week. Thoughts?

I finally watched all 3 episodes last night.
These were my random thoughts/notes while watching: Bracebridge Dinner The creation of “smad”. I still use that phrase today. I loved this: Rory – “Is that a Stella McCartney?” Clara – “It’s a WalMart.” Lol at Luke thinking he has found the secret of parenting. Richard making a sex joke with Emily in the sleigh. Ew. Mrs. Kim - Did you say silent grace? Babette - Haha, good one Loved the dual Lorelai/Emily moisturizer scene. Overall this was a fun episode. i loved the goofiness of the Bracebridge dinner, and I always love when lots of townies are together. A tisket A-tasket Lorelai said “Caesar you’re in charge” but that wasn’t Caesar. Loved that Luke knew exactly what was in Lorelai’s basket. Poor Lane with Henry. Aww, Sookie and Jackson are schmoopy. Lorelai saying she wants to share her basket with someone she loves, as she blushes, and bats her eyelashes at Luke. Another cute townie episode. Dead Uncles & Vegetables Lorelai working in the diner makes me laugh. I 4/4 don’t care I am the Jehovas’s coffee girl 7 Equal Haha, the farmers market. Gorgeous Petey, gorgeous Petey You’re late Lorelai. Uh, I hope I’m not pregnant! Cart, kiosk, cart/kiosk. This still makes me laugh. It’s repetitive, and redundant. It’s repetitive, and redundant. - I use this in my daily life, haha. Emily planning “Lorelai’s” wedding, the Romanov theme. Lorelai did a nice thing for Luke at the funeral. I think this is my favorite of these 3 episodes. Some really nice Luke/Lorelai moments, so sweet. *** It's been quite a while since i've watched some of these episodes, so it's been fun to watch again. Thanks for organizing/suggesting it. |
You're awesome!! I have to watch these soon!!
|
Is this continuing? I'll probably watch these three tonight :)
|
Please do! I'll try to watch them today. Thanks for bumping up the thread!
Maybe we'll move on to season 3 in the first week of March and try to donate a month per season, letting people watch the episodes when they can? |
