Gilmore Girls Rewatch Thread

Hi all,
We thought it would be fun to do a Gilmore Girls rewatch in preparation for the show’s return. We will choose three episodes per season through a vote and we will focus on one season at a time.

Season 1 rewatch (completed):
November 14-20: 1.08 "Love and War and Snow"
November 21-27: 1.10 "Forgiveness and Stuff"
November 28 - December 4: 1.14 "That Damn Donna Reed"

Season 2 rewatch (completed):
December 19th - 25th: 2.10 ”The Bracebridge Dinner"
December 26th - January 1st: 2.13 ”A-Tisket, A-Tasket"
January 2nd - 8th: 2.17 ”Dead Uncles and Vegetables"

Season 3 rewatch: April
3.07 - They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They?
3.09 - A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving
3.22 - Those Are Strings, Pinocchio

Good questions! What does everyone think? Should we set a specific time on a weekend when most people are available, and do a live recap and discussion? (I think that's a good idea.) Or should we just focus on an episode for a week and let people watch it whenever they can, then discuss?

Okay, so "Forgiveness and Stuff" is definitely in after receiving the most votes. Because there were 4 episodes with 4 votes each, I wrote their names on slips of paper and randomly drew 2. The randomly chosen episodes were "Love and War and Snow" and "That Damn Donna Reed."

Season 1 Rewatch Episodes:

"Forgiveness and Stuff"
"That Damn Donna Reed"

Let's go in that order. Should we choose a time next weekend to watch "Love and War and Snow" that agrees with most people?

That sounds great! Do we want to leave the weekend for people to rewatch, and discuss in the week, or set a time? :)

Maybe set a time and those who can watch at that time will do so and chat about it live, but we can continue the discussion throughout the week for those who watched it on their own time?

Sounds good. :D Let's see... Saturday at 12pm NYC time? That should be sort of doable for other timezones. Or, anything people like! (I'm working 12 hours on Saturday, but I'll watch on Friday so I can contribute)

Sadly, i'll still be working. Good new is, I've seen this episode far too many times, so I'll catch up, when I am home!

It's one of my favourites, along with Forgiveness and Stuff. The two episodes that made me fall in love with this show.
