| Like other's I watch GG in order. But as I have said before S 6 & 7 are painful. I hated the Rory/Lorelai fight because it just didn't seem like them. They seemd out of character IMO. The Luke/April thing was just...UGH! I don't even have the words. And what is sad is that because of that storyline and writing I hated April. I really disliked that kid for coming and ruining L/L. And I can't even speak of her mother! How dare she tell Luke Lorelia can't be around Apirl. But how dare Luke for accepting it! L/C was even worse because like someone said they were out of character. Lorelai was never the "lovey-dovey" type with any of her boyfriends, but yet they had her like that with Chris. Totally out of character. In addition Chris wasn't really needed in S7. Lorelai had enough angst with Luke, Rory, and her parents. Shannon, I have to agree with you that I believe ASP knew she was leaving and didn't care what happened to the show. It seems like she almost wanted the show to fail. Your right long lost daughter storylines are for soap operas. This wasn't a soap opera. LG Stargirl, you make a perfect point. How would ASP fixed the mess she made? Would it all have been a dream? I am not sure that Lauren said it, that is why I was asking. It might have been someone else pushing for it? __________________ ~Deana "I haven't danced at a wedding in years, and I certaintly haven't stripped in public before"! -Lauren Graham, People, 4/6/09 ________________________________ *Avi by danielle_xo* | |||

| It was either a dream or Lorelai going somewhere else, not sure. You can ask on GG board, people over there know more about it. Quote:

Lauren said that the LC marriage wasn't organic and that it was all moving too fast. __________________ Hey! Hey! Hey! Lea Michele Campaign! Shannon | avi by ??

| I think the S7 writers had no idea what to do coming in after 6.22 with no direction from ASP. It wasn't going to be ASP's writing/dialogue no matter which direction they took it. That said, I thought they made some awful decisions with both girls' storylines. There weren't really any arcs, and everything just seemed all over the place and inconsistent. I never got the impression that Lauren pushed for the actual marriage. She did say she liked the idea of other love interests just to keep things interesting and the stories moving (which kind of makes sense for her since she's acting and would want other material to work with). I can also remember her saying something like "if these two people are together for too long then the show will end" (referring to LL). That aside, I got the impression that to her the most important part of the show was the mother/daughter and family relationships, and not the "which guy should she date?" type of stuff. However, she did say in the end that she recognized that the LL story started at the beginning and was an important aspect of the show. __________________ --Jenny | |||

| The alt. ending for season six was, Chris would open the door to find Lorelai standing there, but it would have been cut to credits and we would have had to wait to the following season to see what had happened. We're only getting S7 here in Australia now, that's the reason it's taken me that long to see some of the episodes (since at the time the show was on - 2nd half of s6 and 1st half of s7, I had a bet with someone that I wasn't watching it for a year). So in the end I never got around to actually watching the 1st half of s7. | |||

Thanks for clearing up the whole what did Lauren say with regards to C/L. __________________ ~Deana "I haven't danced at a wedding in years, and I certaintly haven't stripped in public before"! -Lauren Graham, People, 4/6/09 ________________________________ *Avi by danielle_xo*

| Just commenting since someone else mentioned Olivia and Lucy, but I found them truly annoying. I generally fast forward through all of their scenes. I've actually seen the one girl (I'm confused whether it's Olivia or Lucy b/c I get them confused) in several movies since the end of the show and I still find her annoying ![]() __________________ ~Erika~ Avi by Ele | |||

| Yeah those two characters seemed really pointless. Especially since they pretty much forgot about them for a really long time and then they conveniently appeared again at Rory's graduation. Weird. ![]() __________________ --Jenny | |||

The other Rory storyline I hated from s7 was the thing with Marty and pretending that they didn't already know each other. WTH?! What was the big deal? And then Logan suddenly finding a conscience and blabbing about it. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! __________________ Debbie ![]()

Like a certain storyline? Or a certain character? One of my favorites was Gran. In the one scene when she "inspects" Lorelai's house and everyone is trailing behind her? Classic. __________________ Hey! Hey! Hey! Lea Michele Campaign! Shannon | avi by ??

That scene was hysterical, Shannon. Gran was always funny. I loved how she always made Emily uncomfortable. I loved seeing Emily have breakdowns. LOL I don't know that they were actually storylines, but more episodes. But in season one I loved the episodes where it is Rory's birthday and she has 2 parties, one with Emily and one with Lorelai. I also liked the one where they go to see the Bangles and Rory's friends find out just how young Lorelai is. Some light hearted, fun episodes I like. For more dramatic episdoes, I also liked the episode where where Christopher comes back and the Gilmores and Hayden's have dinner together. I think that the acting is great plus the dialouge is awsome. It is the first time you see how much pain everyone is in from what happened. Plus, I also like that the writers had Rory question weather or not she was the mistake and if her parents really wanted her. __________________ ~Deana "I haven't danced at a wedding in years, and I certaintly haven't stripped in public before"! -Lauren Graham, People, 4/6/09 ________________________________ *Avi by danielle_xo*

| Yay, I'm all for positive Gilmore Girls talk I still watch it on a pretty regular basis (all seasons )I especially love the scenes between Lorelai and Emily, their fighting and bickering is just priceless Oh, and FNDs, for example the one in the first season where Emily always gets the name of the maid wrong. That's classical Gilmore dialogue imo.In general my favorite episodes/scenes are those where they go from funny to dramatic within seconds, firstly because I think it's thoses scenes that make Gilmore Girls special, and secondly because Lauren's acting really stands out in them ![]() And I agree with you about the episode when Christopher comes back, Deana, great episode, and one of the few episodes where I actually feel for Rory. __________________ Anna ![]() | |||
