Thank you, Katka! But it's not really completely drama free or sweet, is it? That sounds a bit boring and too much of a fantasy. Oh, who am I kidding, it is all a fantasy, lol.

Shannon, absolutely! You know it would be just like Lorelai to be familiar with and refer to Guys and Dolls. Well, at least i thought so.

And this is what I wrote on the "More Gilmore" thread on the GG board here at FF regarding Ausiello and Peter Roth's "feature" blurb :

I always thought the way to go would be a TV movie, that no studio would undertake anything bigger, but now with all the constant reruns, you practically have a whole new generation who enjoys this show. And as it generates so many fans, something that hasn't gone unnoticed at the Guys and Doll's Broadway production, including Lauren herself who mentioned it, I can see how they may think a feature might be a relative success.

My problem with a movie (of any kind. Though, I can't imagine a feature film) is that I just can't imagine what it would be about. I also can't really see all of the actors thrilled to be reprising the roles. Plus, the suckitude (in my opinion) of the last season (and a half/two seasons) doesn't have me too confidant in a movie...

And what if the movie is bad? I dont want it to ruin the show (more than S7 did).

I second your thoughts. The movie could be about Luke and Lorelai's wedding just like the first SATC movie was about Carrie and Bigs wedding but what about Rorys storyline (not that I care that much) and you need some drama especially when it comes to cinema movies and I don't wanna see any dramas on the show anymore. Plus I doubt that Lauren, as grateful as she is, would like to reprise her role as Lorelai cause she knows that she can never leave it behind her.

And I don't trust Amy at all.

Yes, I can see what you mean, Shannon on all accounts. But I look at it now as a reunion of a beloved cast and characters, not as something to rectify the ending we got, as I first felt was needed. And I think that, if written well, it can work. And if it's not written well, then I doubt the main originals would come aboard anyway. So, to the revival of gilmore Girls, lol (most likely never ever happening...)

Ele, you took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't agree more with what you and Shannon said.

In addition to Lauren not really wanting to reprise her role I don't think that Alexis would want to either. I read it some places that she has also been resistant to a GG movie.

well, I read the Scenes from a marriage for the first time yesterday and today Im reading the missing scenes. Luke has a dark day right now. and no, I don´t think it´s boring at all, I like for once read something that I don´t have to fear any big obstacles.lol. I love to read about LL as parents

and for the movie. I would have nothing against movie but at the same time I´m not sitting her hoping for it.lol

Same here. I don't see it happening and I don't really care. I'm happy with watching the episodes over and over again

And apparently I am the only one who still trusts Amy

I would be way more worried if David Rosenthal or someone else entirely got involved in a GG-movie.

Sometimes I want a movie and sometimes not at all, I'm torn. But if they did it, I'd like to see some good family stuff with Lauren/Alexis/Kelly, and they shouldn't mess up LL again, ugh that would very cheap, but lots of banters would be great. But I really can't see this movie happening so..

I just watched 422, everytime I watch it I get smad that Lauren didn´t win EMMY for this eppy, I swear. It´s perfect, there´s everything, lots of funny and lots of drama too. I can never get tired of this eppy.
