I don't want it to end....what will I watch?

okay well I'm going to keep a positive thinking until something "official" comes out but yeah the more it comes down to it I can see us saying goodbye.

okay can I just vent for one second.

I absolutely LOVE GG - *duh* But I will seriously be pissed off if the writers screw this up!! I keep thinking if this is the end will we get a justified ending to our show? and I keep thinking the answer is NO! I am really disappointed because I truly believe that if the whole storyline never got screwed up last year then we'd be sad YET accepting of a final season. It's because we as fans feel we got jipped out of most of a year that we feel it can't end. So all I have to say, is if it is a FINAL goodbye those damn writers better make it worth our while....to have a GREAT show for 7 years and to end it terribly will IMHO just be a waste.

ITA. but i would say it was great show for 6 seasons and 9 epis, then ASP tried to turn this show into one of those soaps where lead female can't be happy.
as for finale i'm sure we will not be satisfied, and i'm not just talking about LL. lorelais relationship with E/R is better, but not as close to where i want it to be in the end. i know lorelai/emily will never have what lorelai/rory have, but i think they should at least act like mother and daughter. last epi, lorelai against emily going with her and rory just showed how much they don't get along, still. i know a lot of people think they're different but they're in truth very, very similar. that was shown for so many times. seeing them get drunk together, getting along, and then in the morning emily acting cold toward lorelai again is not enough for me.
and one more thing, i want to see these two hug dammit. is that so much to ask for?

ITA. I thought that LL belong toghether is something that is given since S5 and the whole point of the ending of the show is that Lorelai finally learns to build a better relationship with her parents. Or what EH said: "I would like a resolution, a real, loving, understanding resolution with Lorelai. That’s what I’d like. We’ve had our explosions, she’s back in the family, we have a banter, but there’s this edge between them that never has been resolved. And I’d love to be able to resolve that."

Thats why I am scared there isn't enough time. I'm not just worried about L/L. There are so many other stories there needs to be resolved and unfortunately there is only 5 episodes left. We just have to hope for the best or that we get a S8!

Hee! She did wear that plaid in the Great Stink. I chose to look at it like she was missing Luke back then and now even more since they are talking again and that's why she is wearing it. Only because it makes me a lot more sane to think like that. Also.. I hated the great stink.. such a fitting title of that episode.

I don't think they'll ever really resolve most of the storylines. They might "tell" us that Emily/Lorelai, or LL, are going to be OK - but they haven't left time to show us, to make it believable.

Hee. I can honestly say I have not watched that episode since it aired. Like most of this season. And yeah you are right we probably won't get to see much resolution but one can hope.
