Yes, here's the LINK to a post on the Spoilers Board GG "Main Thread" that quoted her saying that, and here's a LINK to the full article, from CanWest.

The article is dated January 18th. A number of LG interviews appeared around then, and most asked about an eighth season. Some of LG's quotes sound identical to things she's said in previous years. Some fans aren't sure if she repeated the same statements this year or if some of the reporters filled out their interviews with earlier comments from their files.

I love the back and forth stuff with Michel and the ladies. it really looks like the were caught off guard and had nothing ready. Lorelai's looking better, maybe she's already made up her minds as to the break up and now she just needs to cut him off!

Okay I want to get the next thread this morning (my time) so if we can kill this one in the next hours or so it would be great!

BTW I can't help, but to me Chris is like a pet... a dumb, smelly pet, and when I first read the title of ep 14 I immediately thought of him though I guess it's rather a metaphore that the pet's ending means the break-up of the marriage.
