Lorelai and Christopher take his daughter to Paris, where they spend their time fighting jet lag and hunger, but also succumb to the romance of the city; Zack and Lane receive surprising news regarding their impending parenthood and Lane finally tells Mrs. Kim she's pregnant. Rory retires as Daily News editor and realizes she doesn't know what she wants to do after Yale; she later calls her new friends to cheer her up and discovers that Lucy's boyfriend is her old friend Marty.

Sooo, I have to admit that Lorelai and Chris wery pretty cute in this eppy, at least until Christopher´proposal. I like their scene in bed, in hotel room, on streets, but why couldn´t we get these scenes when Lorelai was with Luke?
Hearing Lorelai says ILY for the three times was more I could handle. I think she said it only because of the atmosfere, they were in Paris, city of love, and they were remembering they old times so I can imagine she could say ILY but I don´t think she really meant it. Her last look at the end proved it.
And I don´t like Christopher for almost forcing Lorelai to marry him.

And Rory - I didn´t get her breakdown. Im in absolutely same position right now, Im senior at college and everybody around me is talking about their future jobs and everything and I still kind of don´t know what I´ll do after graduating and yes, Im thinking about it, it´s not very pleasant but breakdown?come on. I bought this Rory´s storyline even less then C/L marriage, really.

The opening scene witg Gigi was just too cute btw And I have to agree with Katka, the scene in bed was cute too.

What I did love was that Lorelai's face wasn't too happy when they got home

Oh and did Chris say Lorelai a lot of times? Weird out of his mouth

Okay, I loved Lane and Zack, and of course Mrs Kim. When Chris and Lorelai were in bed and couldn't sleep that was fine too, I have to admit I smiled, almost laughed, but the restaurant scene was just too hard to watch 1.) those ILYs were just... arghh... 2.) and also boring at the same time. BTW It could have been a really good episode with L/L in Paris instead of C/L. And Luke wouldn't have needed money to amaze Lorelai and would have never forced her to merry him and neglecting her wish that Rory should be at the wedding, too.

@ franzi - lol I agree.. not taking it seriously is most likely the best way... but it took me two days to get back to normal.. but now I can also laugh about it
