TARTS AND TERRIERS - Wanting to make peace with Rory (Alexis Bledel), Christopher (David Sutcliffe) shows up at Yale, but she brushes off his attempt at reconciliation. When Lorelai (Lauren Graham) learns that Christopher's father passed away, she spends an evening at his place trying to console him, then neglects to tell Luke (Scott Patterson) the truth about where she was. Meanwhile, Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) are briefly reconciled when they take in a lost dog. Finally, Luke brings Lorelai her own portable skating pond, and the Stars Hollow annual Revolutionary War reenactment takes on a racy new twist. Melissa McCarthy, Yanic Truesdale, Liza Weil, Sean Gunn and Liz Torres also star. Daniel Palladino wrote the episode directed by Matthew Diamond

My Review of Tonights Eppy: (5.11 Women of Questionable Morials)
I thought it was good.
I loved all the Lorelai sceans it was funnny when she was attacking the snow I felt sorry for her but still laughed my butt off. I hate to say this but I was alittle pissed at Rory the way she treated her dad at school. The dog Richard and Emily found was so cute and I loved how they acted like it was there little baby, I can't waite till the 100th eppy they belong together. Strobe dying was sad I felt so bad for Christopher. Kirk in the dress was helorus I wish we coudl have seen how long Taylor and Kirk took it too. I am not to happy that Lorelai lied to Luke but I still love the ice skateing thing it was sweet. I give this eppy 4 stars. Which is on a scale from 1-5 of good eppys. 4 stars because I am takeing a point off because I really did not like Rory being mean to her dad and It did not have as much LL kissing as I would have liked lol.

Okay I need to watch this episode properly - see that's what happens when you cap at the same time as watching it.

But I can't help but want to strangle Lorelai for not telling Luke the truth *grrr*

Luke is the perfect man - and the way Lorelai said "you made me an ice rink" -> same as "you made me a chuppah" (the symbolism of the chuppah in the background too)

Loved the Monty Python references and there was a mini reference to Anne of Green Gables when Lorelai said "Tomorrow is another day." *sigh*

Very nice episode.

The teaser was so cute, Lorelai totally excited and Luke grumpy. Lauren and Scott did that really great. There were so many little L/L details in it, like the little shoulder slap Luke gave Lorelai when they said good morning in the diner.

Lauren´s ice skating abilities were fine, although I had to laugh a little when she tried to go backwards. I loved their laughter when Luke pulled Lorelai up from the bench and she had trouble standing on the skates, I guess that were Lauren and Scott laughing.

The scene I´m really obsessed with is Lorelai´s snow rant, I already watched it 3 times. Great acting and high comedy. And it made me feel better after my neighbor just smashed up my poor car with his because of all the evil snow we have.

The only thing I didn´t like, like probably every JJ, was that Lorelai lied to Luke. What would have been the big deal if she had told him about Christopher´s dad and that she tried to help him? I hate the thought that Luke will most likely find out later. Lorelai should have known better.

That part where he pulled her up which was the shot in the promo pic where they're laughing, was definitely an outtake moment - it was more LG and SP laughing than their characters - but added to the cuteness of the scene - of course if the lying to him line had become before that it would have been even better - but still *sigh*

I just love how she managed to pull him from his side of the bed, over her and onto the floor - if I tried that I'd pull my back out

You know, this episode really made my hate/anger, whatever you want to call it for Rory even more intense. I really can't stand this character, good job ASAP this is bringing the level up to Dean and Jess hatred.

I do feel that Lorelai should have just told Luke the truth, he would have understood and probably felt bad. Which is why, I think the drama occurs in the next episodes (without being too spoilerish). I did love how Lorelai made Luke get up in the middle of the night with the snow, that was truly cute. And then how she hated the snow and had that whole 5 minute rant about it. And then Luke made her the ice-skating rink to "reconcile" them, that was too cute but we were totally gipped out of that scene.

From what I've read a lot of people didn't particularlly care for the Richard/Emily storyline...but I loved it. I thought it was so funny how Emily was terrified of the dog but then wound up getting attached to he/she. They were very cute to one another.

Yeah, the "I look like a dork" line went well with the backwards skating.

Lorelai had a hard time standing on her feet in this episode. The slipping on the floor at the Dragonfly, the puddle and then the skates. Fun to watch.

Pulling Luke out of bed was definitely a highlight. Strong woman, that Lorelai.
Now I feel like watching that in slow motion...


I was quite impressed how good the wig and the make-up suited Kirk.

I'm thinking Kirk wouldn't have wanted to accidently fall asleep in that whore costume - he would have thought more than assassins were after him

She's definitely strong - there's no way I'd be able to pull Scott off the bed like that - then again if I was acting in a scene where it required Scott in bed I wouldn't be trying to pull him out

I reckon that scene would have required a few takes (because if you notice it's an one-edit scene - camera pans around from the bed till they're out the door), along with the puddle scene and the slipping at the inn and definitely the ice skating scene

i finally managed to watch last nights episode.. i loved it ..

but whats the matter with lorelais hair? one scene it was totally curly ..the other scene it was more straight and so on .. quite funny

When Lorelai made a comment about the reenactor's story having worse dialogue than From Justin to Kelly, I immediately thought of Alexis. Anyone else? Lol.

Hah, I've trained you all so well. (Kelly's on Ellen Friday FYI) I was cracking up at the J2K reference. That's Kelly reference #2 for Dan in case you've been counting...like me!

You guys already mentioned all of the awesome scenes (LL/Lorelai rant) and all of the meh (Rory/Chris/Kirk). I keep watching the teaser over and over, Lauren must be freakishly strong.

Oh, speaking of Kelly, my friend got dicked over by a guy a couple of weeks ago, and, we blasted Since You Been Gone in my car and almost lost our voices singing along to it. It was very good therapy for her.
