aww Ellevee too bad this time and you are brave. I've had my fair share of adventures and my friends and family have too questioned my sanity sometimes for doing the things I do for the people I adore!

Me too. Yay roadtrip! There's a long weekend just around the corner, you know. Jazz, I'll PM you. I need to ask you something.

VictoriaLeigh...The street is a crescent it has 2 entrances/exits onto Greenland, if they are filming I don't know if they would block access of both entrances, unless they were filming the whole street, and what if you either lived on the street or were visiting someone who lived there...
At the Snowcrest location they had a policeman manning the road about 5 houses away from the house/set, both directions. They would stop motorist and pedestrian traffic only during actual take. When they're done, you'd hear an announcement calling out, "release traffic". At one point, just as the director yells "action!", this guy starts heading towards the main road. Caught offguard, the Assistant Director frantically runs after him and gently pats him on the shoulder and asks him to back up. The poor guy looked confused, he must have thought he had done something wrong. The AD explained to him the camera had started rolling and he would've been in the way of that shot. Maybe if he was wearing a 70's outfit it would've been okay. But he was in hip-hop getup with iPod on ears. Poor thing he had to wait it out. When the take was over the AD looked for him to give the go-ahead but he went missing. Everyone among the crew was like "where'd he go?" I didn't even notice him gone considering he stood right next to me. That's how focused I was on Lauren.

Here's house #85 Snowcrest Ave without the hustle and bustle of the FOG set...

Btw, Agie, I may have been hasty in saying yes to the avi thing. I just realized that pix is my friend's. I will have to ask his permission. I must admit, though, it'll be hard bec he doesn't know I post in this board, or any board for that matter. He's kinda private and ultra conservative. I suppose it won't harm if you do it until I'm able to contact him. Sorry for this snag...

Lauren: Oh, sure (still smiling)... You should let it dry for a while then it'll be okay.
Ellevee: Yeah...Well, thank you so much Lauren. You don't know how much this means to me.
Lauren: (Smiles and nods) Bye Ellevee. Take care. Ellevee: Bye Lauren

oh it was me

I'll remove it if you want. I just figured most pics that are posted on the internet untagged are up for grabs. But I'll glady remove it if you wish for it not to be up. And I didn't know Agie wanted one, I would have made one for you as well but I'm not really good at being creative with them.

Thanks Ellevee for the added pics! Love them as always. I notice a car in the driveway. So was this an actual house that someone currently owns? I am not up to par with with how this movie stuff works. Like do they film in an abandoned house or do they rent one or make the owners move out for awhile LOL

I still find it cool that they filmed in a normal neighborhood and the community okay'd it. I find that where I live it would interfere with peoples daily lives that they'd refuse to have a movie filmed on their street (although I wouldn't care)! But then again it's Canada and I heard Canadians are so much more welcoming then Americans

I got your PM Ellevee, I PMed you back. Also, that long weekend, we'll probably have to do it on Monday, I've got my very first dressage show with my horse on the Sunday.

Gilmoregirl82 - You asked about filming in houses. Most houses are lived in and the owners have registered it to be used in filming. The people who lived in the house will most likely stay at a hotel for the time it takes to shoot the film.

Now before you all go rushing over to register your house for a possible location, let me tell you it's a costly venture. While they do get money for use of their home, your home will never really be the same again. Because of the amount of people trampling in your house and the equipment that is brought in there, I can't tell you the number of things that have been broken, smashed and stomped on. The floors especially take a nasty beating. And your privacy is out the window! While it's all fine and dandy to have your house in a film, there comes some sacrifices as well.

Here's a good informative article about the Robert Kearns.

I'm thinking about doing a FoG section on my news site kind of like the one I did for BiSS and EA. Not 100% sure yet if I'll do it until filming has finished.

I think it's her pic, the article mentioned gilmoregirlsnews.com as the owner. Unless RedFraggle has anything to do with this site I would say they took her pics.

See, it can be good to have an accident like this. Although I doubt I would get any ideas when a cork strucks my eye.
