Thanks for the castin sites, interesting to read.

loved the scenes between Elizabeth and Alex. So Elizabeth smokes, swears and dislikes meat. That's a weird combination of Lauren and Luke.

LoL, Elizabeth is actually LL's kid.
I think the vegetarian thing is for her son's well being, just like she doesn't appear to smoke or swear in his presence.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Lauren has yet to play a character nasty or unsympathetic to kids around her.

I agree, otherwise the meat issue wouldn't fit to her smoking habits.

Yup. She's been a Mrs. Santa's sister, but never a Mrs. Grinch, lol.
I think, in a dramatic role, a heartless character towards kids, could be quite a challenge for lauren.

I never imagined Lauren to play a mean character.

But I always wanted to see her playing a single mother who's struggling with life (far away from Lorelai) and that movie looks like it.

yes me too...i think this movie would be great....i love to read scripts and i see the scenes between alex and elizabeth i my thoughts? head? i don't know

woah, this movie sounds great..i like to see Lauren in roles different than Lorelai, or sweet perfect wife's like in EA or BoA

Thanks for the latest info...I think it'll be funny to see a mean Lauren. I mean, with BoA and FoG coming out soon, it's good to see her acting all of these different characters.

And it's filming in Philadelphia...good excuse for me to drive a few hours...

Yep, I feel the same way! I already loved the fact she would be in a movie with Jeff Daniels, but the more info we are getting on this film, the more exited I am getting!

Not only do I live in Philly but I have an almost 7 year old nephew who is so freakin cute *wonders if he'd be interested in an acting debut!*

and btw I am so going to try and get a part as an "extra" in this film.

Does anyone know if you have to have experience doing that? I tried to do it for the Lovely bones but was too late! Help LG fans help!! (remember if you help me out I can get you all the on set scoop

Thanks Nadine sounds very interesting even though I hate the idea of seeing Lauren smoke, even if it's on screen. Always reminds me of her role in Seeing Other People.

BTW- I choose not to read the sides and wait for some surprises when the movie comes out.
