Considering there are still only 12 cinemas listed as getting TAM, this is very possible. I thought for sure there would be more cinemas announced by now. Very disappointing as this movie really is very good.

Going to VOD before cinemas just doesn't make any sense to me. I guess I understand that the idea is to get word of mouth going with the VOD, but to have it going for a month before the cinemas get the movie? That seems weird to me.

Or it could be a case of a planned limited release, and the VOD/Amazon actually increases viewership of what would have otherwise been a low theater count. *shrugs*

I have no idea the thought process that goes into these things, but personally, VOD makes the movie more accessable...

This whole Answer Man stuff is all very very strange IMO.

How do we know there was no premiere? Or are we just assuming?

I do understand that local theatres hate that it's On Demand before it comes to cinemas though. It is a strange thing to do.. I just hope more cinemas decide to show the movie though. Cause I just love it..

Well, what's the point of having a premiere when nobody knows about it and nobody attends lol.

Very good point. That doesn't sound like a premiere at all.

Right. Otherwise... you're just going to watch your own movie. Lol

I'm assuming it didn't happen. Because if it did, and we know nothing about it... poor poor Answer Man.

I am going with there was no premiere. Otherwise, I think that we would have seen pictures.

If Lauren starts to hide her premieres now I'm seriously smashing my head against a wall or a desk or something lol.

The theatres owners were so unpleased by the VOD thing that they forced the movie company to stop the VOD by telling them that they won’t release the movie in their theatres… This movie and all the others they got on their line-up. Maybe there're problems like this for The Answer Man...
I know the idea behind VOD is to get it out there and people who may not go to the cinema watching it but maybe in future they need it the other way, cinema first for a few weeks then announce the VOD, other wise lots will just wait the few weeks anyway.

Maybe since it was on VOD they had the red carpet at someones house that night

Ok, my work is done. Get to be in the same room as Lauren Graham for an upcoming junket. Cool!
Does this mean we have TAM press junket to look forward to very soon? I hope!

There used to be more theatres listed, including one for Seattle, that were taken off. Crazy.
