Mostly just for how much John loves Lauren!!! It's adorable she's like his muse!!!

All the cute points have been covered and I agree with them all - it's just lovely to hear them talk about the project in such a proud way! I loved Lauren taking charge like she was genuinely interested and wanted to learn more about his process! Maybe he has inspired her to make the leap

You know, we've talked so much about the commentary that I don't think we've mentioned the other extras on the dvd!

I just got through watching them and they show some great interviews with the cast. My favorite part is when Olivia and Kat are saying lovely things about Lauren.

Okay so I've decided to wait for the dvd and then watch the movie with commentary. The thing with me is that I can't listen to the audio and do something else in the meantime. I'm like a man in that, I can only do 1 thing at a time.. And I rather watch the movie with commentary then just listening to audio and do nothing else..

I can put it on my ipod and listen to it on the bus next week.. That would be an option as wel..

I did listen to her laugh at 1 hour and 10 minutes. That laugh was so cute

Or, you could do like most others are doing and play the video with the sound muted and sync it up with the audio in another window. I tried it and it works pretty well. Just an option.

Has anyone else watched the extra featurettes besides me? I love the interviews because we haven't seen a lot them before. Nice to see Kat and Olivia comment on the film.

There's "The Characters of The Answer Man", "The Answer Man: From Concept to Creation", and "HDNet: A Look at The Answer Man".

After my monster post about the commentary I mentioned what Olivia and Kat said about Lauren in their interviews.

I liked hearing Olivia talk about her love with Kris. Hahaha. the 3 second love that I was apparently smacking me in the face and I missed it until this past viewing, lol.

I watched all of the extras on the dvd, but none compared to the commentary. Also, I think I had seen some of the other extras before.

Two of them were produced for the dvd - so they were new. The only one that had been shown before was the HDnet one . . . people could have seen that on cable back in July, I think, when the movie was first available on demand.

I just liked hearing the girls talk about Lauren.

They were nice and it seemed like they looked up to her a bit.

My dvd is on the way. Super excited to watch the commentary now that I've heard such great things....

Just listened to the commentary. I'm in love with it! It's so nice to just listen to Lauren talk for an hour and a half

If any Americans want to buy the DVD but haven't yet, deepdiscount has it for $16.17 plus free shipping. I hadn't been able to pick it up yet, so I just ordered it from there. I don't think you can beat that price at the moment.

So I finally got a chance to watch the extras and comentary. What can I say, she's deffinitly one of a kind lol. Gotta love it, really funny! The Lauren Graham Show lol.

I cannot get over how much I love Lauren's laughs during the commentary. It makes me happy.

In addition to the lovely laugh that has been mentioned around 1 hour 10 minutes, I've noticed the one when she is watching the mailman's family singing and Tony Hale conducts them is very similar.
