Lauren blew up the twitter feed tonight. Great way to end the season.

Disappointed with Sarah's storyline. Very satisfied with everyone else.

Exactly my feelings.

They've probably left the Hank storyline like that because Ray isn't contracted for next season ( doesn't mean he won't be back ).

When she said no to Mark I was ready to turn the TV off. Then when she had the scene with Hank towards the end I was happy-ish. THEN there was no resolution to it all and I was ticked off.

Could they not just have left them happy and then if Ray didn't return throw in the moving storyline? Grrrrr.

Not really disappointed with Sarah, I was surprised how she told Mark and I guess the invite from Hank to join him leaves it a bit open ended. With Drew off to college then why not try things with Hank in Minnesota?

Good to see Kristina given the all clear, for now but with a 5 year window I guess they have the opportunity to revisit the story later.

No real surprise that Jasmine would be pregnant, love how she dropped the news to Crosby.

Drew getting in to Berkley and Amy moving to the East coast school ends it for them, for now but at least they ended on a good note.

The adoption was nicely done, I guess Victor's change night be all down to him wanting to be loved and making things official. Calling Julia mom at the end was a nice touch, also the last minute hitch with Sydney. The broken bowl was also a good bit, showing his fears.

Ryan and Amber getting back together was good as was the I love you from both of them.

The montage at the end was nicely done, almost like a series final, just hope it is not! But annoyingly we got some photos of Amber talking to Sarah, guess that scene was cut for time. I just wonder did they talk about their guy problems?

Hope we get more of this great show!

Last thing I wanted (and half expected) was to see Sarah in the closing montage when Mark came up, don't need her to go crawling back to him at that point.

Because then we'll see Lauren on screen even less than we did this season. Not a good idea at all.

I don't really have words at the moment. Will post when I'm feeling ok ( head still fuzzy from a cold).

Unless it's in a spin-off show focusing just on Sarah and Hank then NOOOOOOOO! (what's that, pigs flying?). That's the reason I thought they'd broken it off with Mark - moving to NY when Drew goes to college wouldn't work with the show.

As soon as Sarah and Mark had the scene in the classroom (and I knew Hank was leaving from the spoilers) I was thinking "No way in hell can they have her crawl back to him when Hank leaves." And then when I saw Mark in the end montage I was worried for a second but they didn't, thankfully.

I adore Mark but I do think Hank is better suited to Sarah and understand her choice. Just wish there was a happier ending for her.

All that rambling and I'm done... For now

Well I was talking about outside the TV land the main thing keeping her in CA is her family. I like that Drew is at a local college, so even if he lives on campus he will still be on the show. Lets face it he can't really be on the show any less than he normally is.

I think what might happen is (during the hiatus) Sarah give things a go with Hank in Minnesota, then either she breaks things off with him and moves back home or they both decide to move back to CA. I could see them doing a few eps with Sarah away and her scenes with just Hank, maybe missing home/Drew&Amber?

Lets just hope we get that 5th season first before spec'ing too much about this.

and so it´s over.

this better not be the final season. Sarah is the only one without a happy ending. I don´t want Sarah to move to Minnesota for the reasons everyone already stated. Even thought lots of Sarah haters would love that. Not sure the show could make it work.

As soon as Sarah told Mark she chose Hank I knew she would end up alone because Hank would tell her he was moving before she could tell him anything. I was mad that I didn´t come up with this scenario in my head myself.lol I thought Hank would leave after Sarah rejected him. hmmm.

Yeah, I was feeling the same. That would be so weak and pathetic from Sarah. Even though a tiny part of my heart hoped that it would happen so she would at least had happy ending.lol

If the next season is about Sarah having a new job and dating another boss than I will be so mad.

And I´m upset that they cut a scene with Amber from the promo pictures. We had 2 scenes with them the whole season. And the scenes with Drew were disappointing as well. I was hoping we would get more in this episode. I guess we´ll never know if Sarah knows about the abortion or not.

No comments about the other storylines. The were all finished nicely.

Okay, I hate to admit this but considering this was the finale, I feel very disappointed by this episode, especially the Sarah storyline. When she came to see Mark I wasn't sure that was going to be the end, and then I had a glimmer of hope, when we saw Mark again. Half expecting Sarah to be there, but no such luck! But at the same time, as some of you have said, it would be right for Sarah to choose Mark just because Hank is leaving. So it seems Hank has won for now. I just didn't want this drama to roll into season 5 (if we get one) but it looks like the saga of Sarah's love life continues. Oh well! But seeing Mark at the end, gives me some hope that Jason will be around next season. Hopefully?!?

But it wasn't all bad, loved the adoption scene, (Anyone notice that was Archie the Jewish priest from Gilmore Girls?) Jasmine telling Crosby she's pregnant, and so happy Kristina is cancer free! And the end scene with them in Hawaii, how corny was that! Haha. I also liked the scene with Drew or a should I say Andrew! (Learn something new everyday!) telling his family he got into college. They put that clip on NBC youtube channel, but it was slighty longer scene, and I wished they'd kept that version in.

Last seasons finale, felt very much like an ending, and I didn't get this feeling with this episode. So this does give me hope that we will see season 5. I just wish we had a few more episodes. So many storylines, to fit into one episode, it felt rushed. A celebration scene after Victors adoption would have been nice. A party back at the Bravermans!

Maybe after a second viewing my thought will change!

Next season Sarah gets a job in Bakersfield as a massage therapist, only to find there is much more to the job than she bargained on

Just saw Amy (Skyler Day) on Wedding Band.

This season was such a waste for Sarah/Lauren. Left alone, with no job I guess and back with her parents. I hope the writers come up with a better storyline next season - if there is one.

Sarah was already back in the guest house, since Mark broke it off.

hours after watching I´m still so sad for Mark. He did nothing wrong. Then he put his heart on sleeve and then Sarah broke it. Poor guy. I can´t even rewatch their scenes now.

Well Mark did break up with Sarah in the first place.

The only part of this whole thing I was disappointed with was the speech Mark made last week about winning her back. And the extent of that we saw on TV was one speech, what about flowers, a special gift or asking Sarah out?

I do feel the end of season was somewhat rushed, but if we has more then it would probably be stretched out too much?

I'm glade Amy and Drew talked but I really wanted more with Sarah and Drew, and that missing scene with Amber.

Parenthood Season 4 Spoilers — Sarah Makes Her Choice - TVLine

My disappointment with this episode is Sarah's storyline. I never been that invested in it. Am not a huge fan of Hank. Moreso, I just wanted Mark and Sarah back together! I read that article and someone posted this comment.

Quote:
I interpreted Sarah picking Hank because she no longer wants to be the girl that jumps from one guy to another. She wants to pick a guy, and stick it through with him, despite how tough it is.
And for me this person had hit the nail on the head here, because Sarah told Mark, 'You have no idea, how much I love you'. And to me she didn't seem convinced when she had 'Goodbye Mark'. I believe that she doesn't want to be that girl, so she made a decision to stay with Hank. I wonder if Hank had left without saying, 'I love you', she might have decided to go back to Mark?

Going to have to watch the episode again.
