How are y'all doing?

I bought a cross bike yesterday. It's a really great one and so light.

And I'm thinking about going to Iceland next winter. One of my colleagues is going and it sounds really fun to explore Iceland in winter with snow mobiles and having a big chance to see polar lights. We would fly up to the north of Iceland to a lake which is only 100km south of the polar circle. We will see.

I want to go to Iceland, too! I've been trying to make it work for awhile. I hope we both actually get there next winter.

Iceland is a place I'd love to visit... but I don't know if I'd want to go in the winter. I've had enough polar vortexes in Michigan to last me for a while...
NYC was fabulous, and seeing Claire was great.

I kinda hate being back now.

For me, the main appeal of visiting Iceland in winter is the Northern Lights.

It is still cold here in Michigan. It is suppose to warm up next week. At least we didn't get all the snow that they got north of us. We have been getting mostly rain these past few weeks but did get some snow that didn't really stick and some sleeting.

Double posting because it's been awhile! What's everyone up to? Now that today is over, I'm officially on spring break!

I'm going to Washington D.C. with a group from my school for a few days (Sunday-Tuesday), which should be fun (we're taking good kids), and then I get to relax the rest of next week.
