I'm not really thrilled about Jack being the Tin Man, but I watch Once Upon A Time,which means you roll with the punches. I'm looking forward to it because everyone on the tv board has really the books and they have me riled up. I'm going to get them on audiobook now, even if it's going to be drastically different(and better) on the show.

The thing I like about the show is that the characters are a lot more effed up and rough. The sense of wonder isn't there and I don't think it should be, considering what's going on. It's hard to be cheerful if a tornado brought Dorothy from the sky and then the Wizard got these predictions. He still has to deal with angry magic users, too. Plus, I've never loved the Wicked Witch this much in my life.

I don't think they can top a version of Tip like this. If Once Upon a Time did an Oz Spin-off, they wouldn't be able to make a Tip as good as Jordan.
