I know Mother's Day is earlier in the UK. But I guess around most of the world it is the 2nd Sunday in May.

I know what you mean. It was why so many people were upset at first that Rob was casted as Edward. Or why people were upset about Hayden being casted as Anakin. They have a certain vision of the character and then their expectations are not met.

I didn't know the Met performed Cinderella as an Opera.

I got into the fandom of Twilight after the movie came out, so didn't have a chance to vision Edward and only see Rob as him

Well, that is true...I have a friend or friend of a friend I guess who still refuses to see Twilight as a movie because she thinks Edward and Bella were completely falsely casted

It is an opera by Rosselini,a bit of a unconventional interpretation but I liked it

I first read the books last March when they all had been casted already - so Rob was always in mind when I was picturing the story.

Saw the movie, have the dvd,am still anti the books

Steph~ Well Cinderella had a "wicked stepfather" instead of a stephmother,there is not glass slipper,no fairy godmother,no pumpkin carriage,no "curfew" so to speak...the prince actually pretends to be his own valet to find a girl who loves him for who he is,not what he is...
